In the Leak!!! Samsung Galaxy S5 will be water resistant, 02 Germany teases

The first carrier to begin teasing the Samsung
Galaxy S5 is Germany’s O2. The operator put up a
page showing the Galaxy S5 submerged in water,
suggesting the device will be water
resistant.
Visiting this address lets users sign up for a
Samsung device that “can do more”. Under a
headline that translates to “Anticipation high 5” we
see the vague outline of the device surrounded in
bubbles. The Galaxy S5 is not mentioned anywhere,
but the URL of the page and filenames of images
from the page both include it, leaving no doubt that
O2 is teasing Samsung’s next flagship here.



The text in the red dot says the device would launch
at the end of February, though that’s no surprise,
given that l Samsung has scheduled an
Unpacked event during MWC on the 24th of this

Photos Of The First "Made In Nigeria" Cars To Be Out In April.

The first set of made in Nigeria, 4x4 SUVs will be ready come April
2014, the Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Motors has disclosed. He
said this to President Jonathan at the on-going World Economic
Forum in Davos, Switzerland. According to him,
it is possible to make two to three million cars annually in Nigeria for
Nigerians. For now, the SUVs are being made at the old Volkswagen
Assembly plant in Lagos, but he said, Nissan would soon build its
own production plant for this to work out effectively.

Google Will Soon Be Offering Free Taxis To Restaurants, Casinos And Other Places As Long As You Promise To Spend Money When You Arrive

Technology Giant-Google is set to give out free taxi rides to people
going to cinemas, restaurants and other public places, says a patent
that was filed by the company few years ago…
In its bid to keep up with the lead, Google will be paying for people’s
journey through its advertisers to encourage more people to use their
businesses.
The system would run on Google’s existing AdWords software, and in
the future, these journeys could even be carried out by Google’s self-
driving cars.
Google says the local businesses would compete for the adverts in
the same way firms currently compete for Google adverts on
webpages.

Samsung 85″ Ultra High Definition TV Finally Arrives In Ghana

Samsung Electronics West Africa has introduced onto the Ghanaian
market, its latest, super-sized 85-inch Ultra High-Definition (UHD)
TVs which is set to redefine TV watching experience with an
impressive resolution which is four times more than that of regular
full HD TVs.
According to Mr. Richard Nunekpeku, Marketing Manager for
Consumer Electronics at Samsung West Africa, the electronics giants
are building on their leadership on the Smart TV platform with the
85” UHD TV which offers a blend of technology and craftsmanship to
deliver greater detail, unmatched clarity and an immersive and vivid
picture quality to viewers. “The LED panel of the new UHD TVs
produces crisp detail along with optimal colour and contrast, while
the Quadmatic Picture Engine adapts the source image, eliminates
visual noise and improves the detail and sharpness of the image
before up-scaling the picture to be displayed in Ultra HD resolution”
He added.
Samsung has also used its Precision Black Pro technology and Micro
Dimming Ultimate feature in the new 85-inch UHD TV. This provides
better brightness, contrast with the deepest blacks, and real 4K
resolution using proprietary algorithms. The new range of Samsung
UHD TVs features narrow bezels, metal stand and metallic finish and
its design hides the built-in speakers and subwoofers that produce
70W audio. The One Connect Box used in these TVs removes cable by
aggregating all connectors from multimedia players.

Samsung Unveils World First Largest Curve TV

Samsung, the global tech giant has for the first time unveiled the
world’s first largest curved HD TV, and if you want to know the size—
it is 105 inch…
Apart from the size and curve of the TV which may put some people
off, it doesn’t come cheap. You have to pay $69,999 to get one if you
are interested in having it at your home or office.




Samsung unveiled its 105-inch curved UltraHD TV Monday, and it’s a
stunner. Samsung is claiming this is “the world’s first and largest
curved HD TV,” but LG might take some issue with that.
Samsung hasn’t released a price for the UHD ( 4K ) stunner, but
considering that it’s charging an astounding $69,999 for its 105-inch
4K set, we expect this one to be pricy, too.
I got some eyes-on time with the 105-inch set, as well as Samsung’s
whole line of curved 4K TVs at a private media event Sunday night. I
was already smitten by the company’s curved OLED TVs, which I saw
in August, and adding 4K to the experience makes it even better.
