the deliverance, unknown to him they were security
operatives, he came and he was apprehended. While
interrogating Chuks Obasi on where he was ordained
as a man of God, he said his mother told him he is a

he took to this job, he confessed that he is only doing
the job to make ends meet and sustain his family, he

hideous acts.

Is President Jonathan Afraid Of This Pastor's Prayer?

It seems Jonathan is saying 'don't lay that hand on
my head o'! *laffs* Could it be he doesn't trust the
pastor?

I think something is wrong here.

...how can a Pastor
be praying for you and your eyes are open, your ADC
is at alert with his eyes open too and you, the Oga at
the top, started shifting your head from his hand
stylishly?

SEE How TB Joshua Predicted The Missing Malaysian Plane

SEE How TB Joshua Predicted The Missing Malaysian Plane Prophet TB Joshua is one man that has continue to remain consistent with prophesies. If he says something, it is most likely that event will come to pass. This is another clear case. On June 28, 2013, TB Joshua foretold one of the biggest airplane "disasters" that will occur, specifically in an Asian country. In his Sunday’s sermon last year he narrated the following: “We have to pray, this is an Asian country. I will not mention any country, but God showed me the country. I am seeing a very big balloon. What is the cause of this? It was just about to take off and the fault started. “ It means they (engineers and pilots) could have discover it on the tarmac, but because of impatience . We are going to pray for them. I will see what I can do,” TB Joshua declares. Check out the video for yourself below... TB Joshua foretold that the catastrophe would be huge with 200 people. How Heavily Armed Men Invade Enugu State Government House

Was it a disguised Biafran coup or some misguided
youths just wanted to take the law into their hands?
But for the superior fire power of security personnel
guarding the Enugu State government house, the
story we would be hearing today wouldn't have been
a good one as a 50-man gang or armed men tried to
take over the Government House in the early hours of
Saturday.
Police officers, Civil Defence men and soldiers were
among the security operatives who shot several times
at the invaders and prevented them from gaining
entry into the government house. One of the invaders
was killed during the shoot-out and three others were
arrested.
The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sullivan Chime,
Mr. Chukwudi Achife confirmed the incident...
He said the shoot-out lasted till about 4.30am.
Mr Achife added that the arrested persons, along with
some of the weapons, have been handed over to the
Enugu State Police Command for further
investigations.
They were said to have told the security men to open
the gate claiming that they were at the government
house on a protest. When one the NSCDC officials
opened the gate to ask why they decided to come in
the night, one of the invaders made attempts to
forcefully enter the premises.
“Sensing that there was danger, the security
operatives rushed out only to see many of them with
machetes and other dangerous weapons, giving
orders to their members to move into the government
house.”
The security operatives succeeded in repelling them
after hours of shooting, and arrested three of them.

EXPOSED: A Bar in Lagos Where Homosexuality Thrives

A bar by the roadside in Agege, Lagos has been
exposed as offering comfort to pockets of gay people
living in fear as a result of the recent Nigeria's anti
gay law. A Saturday PUNCH correspondent visited the
bar to investigate. And Punch just revealed what they
discovered.
According to Punch, aware of how dangerous this
kind of curiosity could be, their correspondent went
under the guise of being a model looking for where to
have fun and also “organise” young men and women
for his homosexual clients.
The bar, which is located next to a popular
petrol station in the area, brings to mind the
popular saying that the best way to hide
anything is to put it in plain sight.
Dressed casually to blend with the crowd, Punch's
correspondent learnt on getting to the bar that a
24-year-old young man owns and runs the place.
Stoutly built with an average height of about five feet,
the bar owner’s (name withheld) feminine disposition
seemed to suggest that he might be gay.
Still apprehensive about a possible raid, Punch's
correspondent asked if the place had ever been
raided by the police.
“No, my shop is very safe and has not been
raided before,” the owner replied.
Outside the bar, left-over decorations used during the
last Christmas hung on the grey double-leaf metal
door outside. To any observer, the bar is like any
regular hang-out spot but visitors would immediately
be conscious of the peculiarity that would suggest
that this might be a gay bar.
Their correspondent learnt that on a good business
day, homosexuality, prostitution and Indian hemp
smoking thrive in the bar.
But during our reporter’s first visit around
8pm, the pub was not full. It had just three
young men who were in their early twenties
in it, apart from the owner.
Two of the men seemed to be the bar owner’s friends
from the way they acted, and the fourth, a dark-
skinned, scruffy looking man wearing dreadlocks sat
by the wall, enjoying the music blaring from the only
two speakers in the pub.
The squalid cubicle-size bar can only accommodate
a table with about ten chairs arranged round it. The
coloured lights in the bar made it impossible to
determine the colour of the interior. Even though there
was no television, guests had to manage the non-
stop party music. It was later learnt that those who
could not get inside the bar stay outside to have their
drinks.
The small bar is divided into two sections,
the section is where the drinks are inner and
sometimes used for quick romance as
observed by our correspondent. The outer
part is where the table and chairs are
arranged for customers to sit and have a
good time.
Immediately Punch's correspondent settled in the bar,
the owner came to sit close.
“I think I saw you earlier in the day strolling
around, or was it not you?” he asked.
“Yes, that was me. I actually noticed you were
looking at me and that’s why I decided to come
and hang out here. I came to see a friend and I
would leave here in some days,” Punch's
correspondent said. It was a cue to earn his
trust.The conversation ended there.
Barely five minutes after the brief conversation, the
bar owner astounded the reporter as he kissed one of
his friends on the mouth before he briskly went to
attend to another male customer that had just walked
in.
When he came back, he sat playfully on the laps of
his friends before finally settling down in the middle
of the two men.
The young man whom the bar owner kissed wore a
shirt with the inscription ‘T-boi Swag.’ He stood up
and started dancing seductively. It was not clear
whether the theatrical gesture was for the benefit of
the correspondent or the bar owner’s.
He was at it for a long while before he finally
stopped.
Shortly after, another young man walked in and
ordered a drink. As if jolted from a long sleep, the
scruffy looking dark skinned guy with the dreadlocks
ordered a can of energy drink, dipped his hands in
his pocket and brought out a roll of Indian hemp
which he smoked as he drank.
This reporter invited the young man who came in last
to sit with him and started a conversation to
determine if he was a part of the happenings in the
bar.
He looked puzzled.
“I only came to see a relative around here and I
decided to come here to have some drinks out of
boredom,” he said.
He left shortly after.
Another scenario played out when one of the
young men was eating diced pineapple . The
bar owner asked to be fed some and when
his friend opted to feed him, he shook his
head signalling that he wanted a mouth-to-
mouth feeding with his friend. Without
hesitation, his friend obliged and a brief
kiss was shared.
Some other three young men walked in, all ‘sagging’
their trousers, ordered drinks and brought out their
stash of Indian hemp. A smoking session soon began
as they puffed on their stuff freely.
Just when this reporter thought he had seen it all, a
set of four girls dressed in skimpy and tight-fitting
clothes walked in and greeted the bar owner in a very
familiar manner. It was later discovered that they
were commercial sex workers. They ordered some
drinks.
Few minutes before this reporter left, another pair of
commercial sex workers came into the bar.
Punch's correspondent spent three hours at the bar.
Before leaving, he called the bar owner
outside for a brief discussion and to get his
phone number. The young man initially
hesitated.
But when the bar owner was told that there was
money to be made if he could arrange men for orgies
for the correspondent’s homosexual clients his
disposition became friendly and receptive at this
point. He told the reporter that he was also a make-
up artiste and asked where the reporter was headed.
“I close around 12.30am. When you are done,
you can come and pick me and we would have
a nice time. I will call my aunt to tell her I am
not coming home tonight,” he said.
This reporter never showed up till a few days later.
The next time Punch's reporter visited the
bar , it was around 1pm, but the bar was
locked. While pondering on what to do, he
noticed a light-skinned lady staring at him.
Just when he wanted to turn and leave, the
lady and her friend came and tapped at his
car glass, asking if he wanted to see the bar
owner.
“I recognised you from your first visit,” she
said. The ladies got into the vehicle and took
him to the bar owner’s house.
The young man came out 10 minutes later with signs
that he must have been sleeping. Punch's
correspondent and the bar owner drove away from
the compound. In the car, both the correspondent
and the bar owner had an extensive talk, which was
secretly recorded.
Punch's correspondent said he was a model based in
South Africa. The bar owner was asked to handle the
business the correspondent had told him about
during the previous visit, promising that he could
make between N50,000 and N70,000.
He was also asked how safe his bar was for the
business as no interruption by the police would be
needed. He said his bar had never been raided by the
police since he had been running it for about five
years.
The bar owner later opened up on his life as
a gay , his bar and how he deceived his
parents into thinking that he had a normal
sexual orientation.
When asked about the kiss with his friend, T-boi, he
said it was a normal thing but he was not in a
relationship with the young man. He said that he was
in a relationship with a boy and a girl. The girl was
to serve as decoy to friends and family, so they won’t
know his sexual preference.
He said:
“I just kissed him that day but there is nothing
between us. I am in a relationship with a guy
and a girl; both of them.”
He explained that whenever his friends, the
commercial sex workers, wanted to go out and have
a good time with their customers, his bar was always
the first point of call.
“They come to my bar first, drink, smoke
shisha or weed if they want. From my bar, they
go to their various destinations,” he said.
The bartender said that he also organised young
ladies and men for interested clients. He said that for
clients with a normal sexual orientation, he charges
between N10,000 and N15,000. But homosexual
clients pay more.
“Yes, I have girls that can have sex with other
girls. If there is money, they can do anything. If
they want to do two some, not with lesbians,
sometimes they collect N20,000 or N30,000 for
the night. T-boi, on the other hand, does it for
money. They always give him money. The guys
I have collect about the same amount. If you
give the girls about N20,000, they would be
interested in being with a lesbian partner but if
it is a normal day that they are not going to
club, you can give them about N10,000.”
He told Saturday PUNCH that he would rather be with
someone who has a normal sexual orientation and
wait till the person flirts with him than with someone
who already knew he was gay. The young man said
he was more of a romantic person and would not
readily want to have sex with another man for money.
He, however, said if he needed the money, he would
take it. He said:
“I am always scared when I go out with a
complete stranger. I am always careful when I
meet people for the first time. I don’t know
what the person could be up to; that is why I
am scared. I really don’t like people that are
openly gay; I prefer people who have a normal
sexual orientation and do not know about my
sexual orientation but make advances.
I like them like that, but if people that are gay
like me offer to give me money, I don’t accept
it. I would rather introduce them to another
guy. I have friends that would be interested
mostly because of the money,” he said.
He believes that being a homosexual is his destiny.
He said he embraced it wholeheartedly about three
years ago when he turned 21.
The young man told Saturday PUNCH that there were
tell-tale signs that he was homosexual when he was
young as he always mingled with the opposite sex.
He said it was his nature and that was the way he
was created. He said:
“While growing up, I was always mistaken for
a girl till I began to grow beards. Now, I’m
attracted to men instead of women. I believe it
is the nature of my body and my destiny. I
cannot deceive myself anymore because I have
more feelings for men than women,” he said,
making feminine mannerism.
“I count myself lucky because when people
come from South-Africa, they come to my shop.
I don’t know how they know my shop. This
thing is natural, you cannot hide it. I was still a
kid when I knew I was gay. Then, I used to play
with girls and I was always involved in girls’
games like ten-ten, playing with dolls and the
likes.
Back then, people used to ask me to take
money or bet on whether I was a girl or a boy.
It was not until I started growing beard that
they knew I was a man. While growing up, my
girlfriends would always come to my house to
invite me to play with them.”
The bartender said that he did not like the location of
his shop as the neighbourhood sometimes scared
away his customers. He told Saturday PUNCH that
when he got more money, he would establish a hotel
with a much bigger bar for his customers.
“I want to move because there are times when I
meet some clients and I give them the address
of my shop and they are scared to come
because of the location. Most times, they like
me but the location of my shop discourages
them,” the bartender said.
The last born in a family of four, he said that he came
from a good Christian home and none of his family
members was aware of his sexual orientation. He said
he once impregnated a girl to prove that he was not a
homosexual. He said that the baby had a striking
resemblance with him and that he had been
responsible for the child as the mother insisted on
keeping the baby.
“My family confronted me about whether I was
gay once but when I got the girl pregnant, they
stopped doubting me. People in my area were
the ones feeding them with all sorts of
rumours,” he explained.
The young man who said that he could play the role
of both a male and a female in a relationship, gave
hints on how to know who is the “king or queen” in a
homosexual relationship. He said:
“In a homosexual relationship, it is easier to
know the king than the queen. For example, the
king in a lesbian relationship is the one that
acts like a man. She likes men’s sports, dresses
like a man and even fights like a man.
“The queen is not so easy to spot. If a girl is
naked before her, once she sees her nipples,
she would become aroused and attempts to
touch the nipples. That’s when you would
know the person is a lesbian. I play the two
roles of both a male and a female.”

Séx Tragedy: Banker Dies In His Secret Lovers House In Action

A fish seller, popularly known as Alhaja Adegbite in
Oluwatedo community, Ayetoro-Itele in Ado Odo-Ota
Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun State, has
landed herself in trouble. She is being interrogated by
the police over the death of her male lover in her
house.
The man, a banker, was said to have died while
making love with the popular Alhaja in her house.
Alhaja, it was gathered, had received the
deceased in her apartment on 4, Ayegbajeje
Street in the community on Monday afternoon,
March 3.
Residents who spoke on the condition of
anonymity said a community leader was alerted
in the evening of March 3, 2014, that a man
might have passed on in Alhaja’s house and
that the woman was trying to cover up the
incident by getting rid of the corpse...
The deceased who was said to be on vacation at the
time he met his death at Alhaja Adegbite’s apartment,
is a staff of a new generation bank.
According to Daily Sun, the Alhaja she was said to
have abandoned her husband for whom she had
children, when the man suffered stroke and was
hospitalized.
The community leader quickly reported the incident at
the Itele police station close to the community. He
also informed members of the vigilance group in the
community about the development. The police,
members of the vigilance group and some community
leaders then arranged to monitor Alhaja’s
movements.
Around 2:30am, the vigilance group was alerted that
the Alhaja, with the help of a commercial bike
operator, dumped the body of the man by the
roadside around Kennedy Road, is a short distance to
her residence.
The vigilante group alerted the police about the
development before storming Alhaja’s apartment to
confront her about the misdeed. When asked to
produce the deceased’s body, the woman denied that
a man died in her house, insisting that the man left
her apartment the day before. But the men told her
that they saw traces of the deceased’s legs being
dragged to the roadside. They showed her the traces
from her backyard , with streaks of what appeared to
be the deceased’s blood as he bled from one of his
legs and nose.
When it appeared that she wouldn’t confess, the men
applied force on her. Some women in the community
who also learnt about the development joined in the
interrogation and the Alhaja was given some beating
which forced her to confess that the deceased
actually died in her apartment.
She reportedly confessed also that she arranged with
a commercial motorcycle operator to secretly dispose
of the man’s body because she was afraid of what
would happen to her if people got to know about the
incident . However, she insisted that she never had
séx with the deceased, saying he only came to show
her some documents.
But some residents in the area, notably women who
didn’t want their names in print, told Daily Sun that
the man actually died while in "active duty" with
Alhaja.
But Alhaja’s maintained that it is just business that
joined two of them. In her words:
“He had finished discussing a certain business
transaction he had with some people when I shouted,
telling him that he must have been duped by the men
he had dealings with. It was at that point that the
man expressed shock, and being hypertensive, he
collapsed and gave up the ghost right there and
then.”
Some of the residents were thoroughly angry,
asserting that Alhaja Adegbite must be a very
heartless woman to have tried to cover up the death
of the man in her house.
But she insisted: “ I was just afraid. I didn’t know
things would turn out like this. I thought erroneously
that covering up would be the best since I don’t know
what killed the man. I am very sorry about this.
Maybe I should be allowed to go with him. Since he’s
dead, let me also die too,” she sobbed.
The man's wife is in grief, hence she couldn't speak
to the reporter. Nigeria Police are on top of the
matter.

Has President Jonathan Lost Control?

US Government Confiscates Another $458m Abacha Loot

Less than a week after President Goodluck Jonathan
honoured late Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, with
an award for “his contributions to the nation,” the
United States has ordered a freeze on a whooping
$458m in assets stolen by the former dictator and
his accomplices.

“This is the largest civil forfeiture action to
recover the proceeds of foreign official
corruption ever brought by the department,”
said Mythili Raman, acting assistant attorney
general.

“General Abacha was one of the most
notorious kleptocrats in memory, who
embezzled billions from the people of Nigeria ,
while millions lived in poverty.”

AFP quoted the Justice Department as saying on
Wednesday that the corruption proceeds – stashed
away in bank accounts in Britain, France and Jersey
– were frozen at Washington’s request with the help
of allies.

Abacha died in office in 1998, but his surviving
relatives still include some of the richest and most
influential figures in Nigeria.

According to a civil forfeiture complaint unsealed in
the US District Court in Washington, the department
wants to recover more than $550m in connection
with the action.

Justice Department said the frozen assets, along with
additional assets named in the complaint,
represented the “proceeds of corruption” during and
after the military regime of Abacha, who became
Head of State through a military coup on November
17, 1993 and held that office until his death on June
8, 1998.

The complaint alleges that Abacha; his son,
Mohammed Sani Abacha; their associate, Abubakar
Atiku Bagudu, and others “embezzled,
misappropriated and extorted billions from the
government of Nigeria and others, then laundered
their criminal proceeds through the purchase of
bonds backed by the United States using US financial
institutions.”

The latest action sent a “clear message” that the
United States is “determined and equipped to
confiscate the ill-gotten riches of corrupt leaders"
from Nigeria who are stealing today. Their day of
reckoning is coming.

Popular Pastor Arrested for checking Female Member’s Virginity With His Finger

The spiritual leader at Jesus Is The Way Evangelistic
Ministry in the Olorunsogo area of Abeokuta, the
Ogun State capital, Pastor Adekunle Kayode has been
arrested by police over allegations of séxual assault
levelled against him.

34-year-old Pastor Kayode was said to have inserted
his finger into the vagina of a female member in a
bid to, according to him, check if she is still a virgin.

However, it is suspected that his action is a "ritual".

"There was also a drama when the victim
received ‘holy spirit’ which propelled her to
reveal the misdeeds of the pastor who has
indulged in this ungodly act for years.
“Another suspect arrested for similar offence is
Onatade Oluwasegun of 4, Sheriff Onatade
Street, Obantoko for conspiring with the said
pastor to use the victim for a ritual purpose.
“The father of the victim alleged that the duo were
fond of dipping their fingers in the victim’s private
part even when she was menstruating for reasons
best known to them.

“She also claimed that the pastor recently confirmed
her virginity status when she was to take part in a
church programme. The victim has also claimed that
Oluwasegun used a charm while attempting to rape
her as directed by the pastor possibly for a ritual but
she miraculously escaped.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer,
Muyiwa Adejobi, the pastor’s arrest was carried out
when the lady narrated her ordeal to her father who
then informed the police of the incident.
Meanwhile, it was disclosed that Police have
recovered charms from the pastor within the church
premises.

“The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State, Ikemefuna
Okoye, has directed that the matter be transferred to
the SCID, Eleweran for further investigation,” the
PPRO confirmed.

Popular Musician Obesere "Rapes" Business Woman In Lagos

Popular Fuji musician, Alhaji Abass Akande, popularly
known as Obesere, has been arrested by the Police in
Lagos State for allegedly raping a 29-year-old
businesswoman, Olanike Olaiya in his Okota
residence.

The sad woman, who reported the matter to Police,
also narrated her ordeal in the hands of the musician
who is known for large-crowd shows that fascinate
society women. Ms Olanike said:
“I got to know Obesere through one of my
friends, Mrs Bola Okoro. She told me that
Obesere would assist me in my business.

I deal
in office equipment and when I contacted
Obesere, he asked me to meet him in his family
house at Okota. When I met him, I introduced
my business to him and he promised to
connect me to some of his friends in Dubai who
would sell goods to me on credit.

“After the discussion, he started demanding for
sex and I refused and when I wanted to leave,
he insisted I should sleep over in his house
because it was late and he claimed that it was
dangerous to go out late in the night in his
area...
“I thought he was a responsible man and I
decided to sleep over, but at the dead of the
night, he came into the room where I slept and
pounced on me.

“He raped me and afterwards inserted a ring he
wore into my private part and I started
bleeding. He hurriedly left me in the room
saying he had an appointment to fulfil. I could
not bear the trauma and the bleeding and I
reported the matter to the police.”

According to Vanguard, Obesere was first arrested
last Wednesday by the Police at Isolo, where Ms
Olanike had reported the matter. He was subsequently
released on administrative bail.

He was later re-arrested on Monday, when medical
examination conducted on the lady revealed that she
was actually raped and the Divisional Police Officer,
Isolo, Adamu Ibrahim, was said to have ordered the
transfer of the matter to State Criminal Investigation
Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further
investigation.

His arrest was made possible through a Warrant Of
Arrest issued by the Chief Magistrate of Isolo
Magistrate Court, Mrs Kike Bukola Ayeye, as he had
declined to honour several police invitations sent to
his house at Johnson Famiye Street, Canal Estate,
Ago, Okota.

But in his reaction, Obesere said he and Ms Olanike
are lovers
Police sources also said Obesere in his statement
denied ever raping her, rather he claimed she was his
lover and they made love when she visited him.

A source said Obesere claimed he asked her to go to
a private hospital for treatment when she complained
that she was bleeding, but he was surprised when
she reported to the police that she was raped.

The popular singer is now in police custody.
Nastygist.Com gathered they are trying to settle out
of court.

Bomb Found Inside First Bank as Customers Run for Their Liffe

Tragedy was averted on Tuesday as a security guard
attached to a branch of First Bank Plc in Osogbo,
Osun State discovered an explosive substance
wrapped in a polythene bag right inside the banking
hall.
Immediately the discovery was made, bank workers
and customers all took to their heels, with many of
them leaving their hard earned money behind. It was
indeed a dramatic situation as Nigerians struggle to
pass through the bank's security door, all at the
same time.
As soon the information about the bomb spread,
many shop owners in the area hurriedly closed their
shops, to avoid long story, while some even left their
shops wide open and ran for safety. No one wants to
die!
Officials of Police Anti-Bomb Squad were immediately
deployed in the bank...
They were able to detonate the bomb successfully
and cordoned off Station Road, where the bank is
located.
Osun State government said it suspected foul play in
the episode. A statement by the government said:
“We are compelled to call on the security agencies to
get to the root of this strange discovery in Osogbo
and tell the whole world how this device found its
way into a banking hall.
“Usually impregnable fortification of banks through
their various screening machines which detect
metals. To be specific, we suspect a deliberate foul
play in the antics of those who desire to create a
sense of insecurity in this state.”
The government assured residents of their safety and
urged everyone to go about their legitimate activities.

SEE WHAT FUEL SCARCITY IS DOING TO NIGERIANS

I hear the fuel scarcity is biting so hard in some
areas, so much that Nigerians are beginning to beg
NNPC and the Presidency not to account for the
$20billion (over Three Trillion Naira) that is missing.
Some people are now saying Federal Government
should continue to steal any amount they want for
2015. Just give us petrol!

Pastor Orders Female Members Not To Wear Pants To Church

Indeed wonders shall never end, especially as we're
approaching the much talk about end time:

As you read this, a controversial pastor has told
ladies attending his church not to wear underwear so
they can feel closer to God. The strange order was
issued to female members by Reverend Njohi. Female
congregants were forbidden from wearing bras and
pants to service at Reverend Njohi's church, a
ministry known as Lord’s Propeller Redemption
Church.

The pastor openly warned that there would be
grave consequences for any female member
who fails to adhere strictly to his new order.

Surprising, most of the women in his church
adhered to the order as ladies were are said to
have attended service with no underwear,
leaving their breast dangling...

Reverend Njohi, whose church is located in Nairobi,

Kenya, according to Kenyan Post, said ladies need to
feel free in their ‘mind and body’ while in church for
"easy access of the spirit".

Why is it that some pastors just like taking advantage
of their church members?

Young People and The Time of Nigeria

As events to commemorate Nigeria’s centenary
(January 1, 1914 – January 1, 2014) continue, and
as I reflect on the condition of Nigerian youth today,
the perception of the precarious world that has been
shaped for us over the last 100 years became
stronger than ever.

Unarguably, the generations of young people who
have come on the scene, one after the other, in recent
decades, have found a country whose characteristics
and “climate” are changing. Today, the greatest
challenge is being young in a nation dominated by
fear and uncertainty.
Graphic, empirical or quantitative evidence strongly
support this assertion:
According to the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS)
“2012 Youth Baseline Survey Report”, the population
of Nigerians below the age of 35 years comprises
60% of the entire population of the country.

Assuming that the 2006 census and the 2012
estimate of 167 million for people resident in Nigeria
are correct, then the youth population in Nigeria
today may well be over 100 million.
Of this number an alarming 54% are unemployed, the
NBS report shows (I reckon that the
underdevelopment of agriculture through years of
neglect and poor policy administration, comatose
extractive/mining sector, de-industrialization and the
failure of manufacturing over time have contributed in
no small way to the poor employment figures).
Also, the United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP), in its 2013 Human Development Index (HDI)
Report, ranked Nigeria amongst countries with low
development index at 153 out of 186 countries that
were ranked. Adult illiteracy rate in Nigeria is 61.3%.
Life expectancy is placed at 52 years while other
health indicators reveal that only 1.9% of the nation’s
budget is expended on health. 68.0% of Nigerians are
stated to be living below a miserable $1.25 daily.
Additional worrisome data are that, while South
African and Egyptian universities make the list, no
single Nigerian university is ranked among the best
10 in Africa and top 400 in the world, as the “Times
Higher Education World University Rankings
2013-2014” show. “T.H.E. Ranking” is the only
global university performance table to judge world-
class universities across all of their core missions -
teaching, research, knowledge transfer and
international outlook.
Of course, social services today are exceedingly poor
and the decay in public infrastructure is glaring for
all to see. Or does one need any data to appreciate
the challenges that the problem of ethnicity,
diminishing national consciousness, religious
intolerance and unchecked activities of militias and
terrorist organizations pose to security at societal
and individual levels in Nigeria today? The gory
pictures from the recent massacre of over 30 students
in Yobe State by Boko Haram insurgents tell the tale
better.

As gloomy as they appear all the data given above do
not sufficiently portray the ‘real’ drama of today’s
youth. The critical issue is something denser;
something that goes beyond the unemployment
statistics and the tables confirming that the world
has changed and that the guarantees of a generation
ago are almost impossible in today’s times of
ferocious competition and obligatory flexibility.
At the heart of the matter is the question of ideology.

Today’s youth are immersed in epochal changes. We
were not born in historical circumstances in which
time-tested, traditional value systems are handed on
almost mechanically. We find ourselves before a
diversity that forces us to choose.
Sadly, the ideology that reads everything in terms of
“individual” success; where the value of a person is
measured by the possession of material wealth
(materialism), is what many young people, in recent
decades, have lived by (how much culture, movies,
and music bear this terrible news!).
Relationships, family, ideals have been pruned, cut
away. “Solipsism” - the belief in oneself as the only
reality - and, even worse, “Nihilism” (the belief in
nothingness), are gradually taking root in our youth.
The results? Various forms of impatience,
disappointment and, yes, fear. So much so that many
young people today have become violent against
themselves, others and the world.
While everything in a person tends to search for
something that satisfies fully his desire for beauty,
truth, and justice, what we meet and what is
proposed publicly and privately seems marked by
condemnation, precariousness, uncertainty, and
doubtfulness

The real drama, therefore, lies in truly finding
something that satisfies one’s life. And life as it is,
with its limitations and its precipices, not life as a
soap opera. This is the story, splendid and terrible,
that is on the stage in the Nigerian theater, and
pertains to all.

Traitor fathers
But where has the father, in his inexcusable absence,
gone? Italian author and playwright, Giovanni
Testori, wrote about those “traitor fathers” who had
coined a medal with no flip side, “the medal of
easiness, that did not envision its flip side: difficulty.”
They then passed it on to their children, betraying the
very ones they had generated.
Indeed, the Nigerian society today is full of such
“traitor fathers” who have failed to transmit to the
young the values of hard work, dignity in labour,
selflessness, social responsibility, accountability,
fairness and respect for others, reminding us that
fatherhood is not a “natural” given but is cultural
and educative.

The dearth of “adults” who are a presence bearing a
true identity, a positive hope, a constructive certainty
or meaning for their lives leaves many young people
in an immense solitude, which they fill with the easy
and sometimes terrible “games” that are readily
available.

Thanks to these traitor fathers who have
institutionalized corruption in every facet of our
public life through years of bad leadership (with a
score of 25 out of a possible 100 points, and ranked
144 out of 177 countries measured, Nigeria emerged
the 33rd most corrupt country in the world in the
Transparency International Corruption Perception
Index 2013), our youth have imbibed a lifestyle of
greed and a “get-rich-quick-at-all-cost” mentality.

But how can the youth see things any different in a
society where corruption is the norm and thieving
politicians and fraudulent businessmen are celebrated
as heroes? Where a poor, hungry man who steals
another’s ‘cube of sugar’ is imprisoned while a public
official who embezzles ‘billions of dollars’ of our
common wealth is allowed to go scot-free, or even
granted Presidential pardon?
The Need for Re-orientation
At individual and national levels, there is a
paramount need for reorientation; a changed set of
attitudes and beliefs. There is need for an education
(The fundamental idea in the education of the young
is that it is through the younger generations that
society successively rebuilds itself), and parents and
religious leaders have a role to play here, as much as
educational institutions do.

Let’s be clear: the concept of education I am referring
to is not “mere acquisition of academic
qualifications” (as, unfortunately, obtains in most
institutions of learning today). No! I mean education
as Luigi Giussani, Italian educator and founder of
International Communion & Liberation Movement,
describes it in his book “The Risk of Education” - “an
introduction to total reality.”
To educate means to introduce a person to reality by
clarifying and developing his primary or original view.

True education, therefore, has the inestimable value
of leading a person to the certainty that things, in
fact, do have a meaning, and “tradition” is an
important component of the educational process.

Unless young people are taught about the past
(tradition) from within a life experience that highlights
a correspondence with the heart’s deepest needs; in
other words, from the context of a life that speaks for
itself (a true father figure - who could be a parent,
teacher, or any responsible role model), they will grow
up either unbalanced or skeptical. If they have
nothing to guide them in choosing one theory (a
working hypothesis) over another, they will invent
skewed ones.

The youth must take this past and these reasons,
look at them critically, compare them with the
fundamental desires of their heart, and say, “this is
true”, or “this is not true”. As they grow older,
following this educational method, their passion for
life acquires an intensity and brilliance that even the
educator could not have fathomed, and discloses to
them the dignity of their personality and the affinity
with the divine that gives it its substance.
Of course, this “recollected awareness of the ultimate
sense of life’s mysteries” must become a spiritual
exercise, an ascetic path, and thus a suitable
perspective from which to live out a goal worthy of
their lives.”

Man Dies During Séx With A Popular Prostitute In Abia State

When a man makes small cash and all he could think
of is how to enjoy a hot session with a popular
ashawo in a popular "joint" in town then you should
know that something is wrong somewhere, seriously.
As you read this, a man, identified as Ogadinma
Chukwu, has lost his life while "in the act" with a
commercial séx worker at a popular brothel located
on St. Michael’s Road, Aba, Abia State. Sources say
the man, whom they alleged to be a regular visitor to
the brothel, died while romping the prostitute.
It was gathered that immediately Mr Chukwu slumped
and died, the prostitute contacted her colleagues and
the manager of the brothel who moved his corpse to
a sanitary lane at the back of the brothel...
As a result of the development, shop owners in the
area quickly closed business for fear of police arrest.
Those who spoke anonymously on the development
disclosed that staff of the brothel at 5pm brought out
the corpse through their back door, dropped it at the
sanitary lane and disappeared.
Sources say the man might have died of a cardiac
arrest or exhaustion as white foam gushed out of his
mouth.
Policemen from the Aba Central Police Station, who
conducted a search at the scene, recovered an ATM
card, a cheque book and cash of over N200,000 as
well as a Man O’ War Association of Nigeria identity
card, bearing the name, Ogadinma Chukwu.
Contacted, the Commander, Man O’ War Association,
Aba, Uche Egbuziem, identified Ogadinma Chukwu as
a former member of the association.

Séx Fad: Man Cancels Wedding as Bride Fails Pregnancy Test In Redeemed Church

When churches compel ladies who have been séxually
active for years to just abstain from the act over
night it should be made clear that most of these
ladies may just be pretending to be abstaining
because of the man they want to get married to in
church but they are busy getting "enough servicing"
from other men.
This was the big mess that played out at a Redeemed
Church branch last Saturday, 22nd February, 2014.
The Senate President's wife, Helen Mark, was to play
hostess at the wedding. The bride, Cynthia worked for
her and was said to be an orphan thus had become
her adopted daughter. Guests got to the venue of the
big wedding at about 9am but 2hrs later, neither the
bride or the groom came out.
As guests started getting impatient, the groom came
out, took the microphone and announced to the
surprise of all guests present that he is no longer
interested in the marriage...
It later turned out that the the Redeemed Christian
Church of God, RCCG, that was supposed to wed them
had conducted a pregnancy test for the lady 24hours
before the day and the result turned out POSITIVE.
The BIG problem however is that the mam had never
slépt with the lady. So, who got her pregnant? The
lady on her own part insisted she was not pregnant
and went to do her own pregnancy test in a different
hospital and the result came out as NEGATIVE. Crazy
drama in church.
Redeemed church called their doctor to do a second
test and the test traced the thing and it was
POSITIVE!
The church did several tests and all came out
POSITIVE, but the lady is still insisting that she is not
pregnant.
Could it be that she had terminated her "pregnancy"
and did not know that the church's test could trace
it?
The man insisted that he can't marry a woman who
is pregnant for another man, and a liar. David Mark's
wife and her people begged the man to forgive and
marry her but he stood his ground. Never!
A source told nastygist.com that the man's main
anger was that when they were dating she didn't
allow him to go "far", meaning there was no special
torching. She was trying to paint herself as a good
girl before her man, so he can't go ahead and marry
her since another man was enjoying what he was
denied.
The lady cried but it didn't change anything. Some
guests ate their rice others didn't. The man walked
away!

We'll Arrest Amaechi At The End of His Tenure –– Wike Boasts

It seems plans have been concluded to arrest the Governor of Rivers
State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, upon the expiration of his tenure by
May 29, 2015. This purported plan was revealed to journalists by no
other than the Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike.
The Ministers said: "Once INEC announces the victory of President
Jonathan, we will immediately shut down the Port Harcourt
International Airport and all land and sea boarders in Rivers State to
prevent Governor Amaechi from escaping ."
But reacting to Wike's "childish talk", the APC said as at today
majority of Nigerians have rejected PDP and the likes of Jonathan
and Wike who have nothing good to offer the people. An APC source
said:
"Is it not if Nigerians vote for you that you can be in power? Is it
not if you are in power that you can even contemplate arresting
anybody? Let Wike continue his childish talk. Obasanjo has
already told Amaechi not to be afraid of those fake Abuja
politicians. We won't threaten anybody, but Nigerians will decide
and when the result is out Wike's eyes will be clear."
Wike is however insisting that he knows Amaechi is planning to run
away from Nigeria as soon as the PDP is declared winner of the
Presidential election in favour of President Jonathan. He speaks with
much confidence as if he already have details of the election result for
2015.
Wike who spoke during a PDP function over the weekend in Port
Harcourt, claimed that the PDP will win an election in Rivers State
and Nigeria, no matter what anybody thinks.
