In a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune, the Ghanaian actor addressed something Genevieve Nnaji allegedly said, that he's not a good actor. I doubt Genevieve would said this openly but read Van Vinker's response below... I read the article but I wasn’t bothered about it because that was her opinion, and she is entitled to it. I never responded to it, and I don’t think I will. Nevertheless, I don’t have any ill feelings towards her. Now, whether her opinion has changed or is still the same, it doesn’t make much of a difference to me, because I know I am a fantastic actor and I am doing what I am doing with passion. I am enjoying it and I'm making the best I can of it. Having said that, if I am given a job to do and she is involved, I would do the job. I won’t say because she said this, I won’t do the job. showing the Nigerian soccer star with Genevieve in
South Africa, we can now confirm that Mikel was
actually in SA to star in an inspirational movie
alongside superstar actress Genevieve Nnaji. The
movie is titled The Journey, and we can confirm it's
sponsored by leading malt brand Amstel Malta.
The Journey centres on the superstars' journey to
success; how they started out, the story of their
challenges and the glory of where they are now. The
movie is to be premiered at the Africa Magic Viewers'
Choice Awards on the 8th of March, 2013. Going by

Doesn’t the breakup of your relationship with
the father of your son confirm the insinuation
that Nollywood stars hardly have stable homes?
That is a false view. We actresses are just like
every other person. As a woman, you would
always want your relationship to remain intact.
But when you are in a relationship and you are
experiencing 70% pains, I will tell the person to
quit. It’s not by force. But if it’s 30% pains and
70% happiness, it’s worth staying because you
can never get 100% satisfaction - no man is
perfect.
Why this unusual obsession for older men? I
think that is me. Younger men don’t turn me on.
If you are 25 or 30 years old and you are
toasting me, then, you are just wasting your
time. Maybe because I don’t really like séx and
I always think they are after séx. Or maybe they
don’t think the way I do. So, it’s bull shit for
anybody to think I date older men because of
money. That is the person’s business and I
don’t give a damn.
Considering the fact that you loved that man, why did
you back out of the relationship?
You can love somebody; but sometimes, love is not
just enough. If your life is threatened and you end up
dying, will you go to heaven and show love to that
person? You have to live in order to love.
Considering the age bracket between you and your ex,
it’s widely believed that you dated him because of his
money. How will you react to this? Love has nothing
to do with age, especially when it comes to true love.
But we really don’t have true love here in Nigeria. A
lot of women go for fancy things. Even the first man
in my life was 30 years old when I was 20. He was 10
years older. That was how I started my life. I have
never dated my mates or younger men.
You don’t expect me to get entangled with someone
who is still in school. What if I get pregnant, who will
take care of my child? Where will we live? I’m a
realist. That is why I fall in love with someone whom I
know can take care of my children. The wrong thing
for any woman to do is to get married to anybody
who can’t take care of her and her children - that is
when you will start thinking of cheating.

This is not the best of times for ace actor and school proprietor, the
very popular Emeka Ike known for so many things and love for
scandal.
Cos according to NastyGist the very well known actor turned
educationist's school located at 1, Raji Olamideji Crescent, Magodo
beside PMS filling station on CMD road was shut down or better still
taken possession of by the court last week Friday, January 24, 2014
after a protracted court case that lasted all of 5 years.
From the little information they were able to gather, Emeka had had a
running battle with the owners of the
property for the past 5 years, during which the well known actor
refused to pay a dime to the property owners.
The school St. Nicholas College, a secondary school was established
in 2008 by the ace actor. And according to the gist then, Emeka was
supposed to have invested about N200 million in the making the
school happen at the property that they have now been sent packing
from.
All through the years of the school existence Emeka, his wife and the
school had been engaged in one unconfirmed allegation after the
other. Some of the allegations are as follows:
none payment of salaries as at when due to the staff &
teachers; he apparently used to owe many of those working
for him for upwards of 6 months at a time.
He was also alleged to prefer employing unqualified & non
professional teachers in a school, where parents were
paying exorbitant school fees thinking they were getting the
best of education and more. So bad was the situation at
the school at a point, that many parts of building were said
to have been in a state of disrepair.
At a point it was alleged that only 13 students remained in
the school, as others had been withdrawn by their parents.
Everything finally came to a head last week, when court bailiffs acting
under instructions took possession of the school. Just before sealing
it, they were reported to have carted away a few of the valuables that
were still in the school, like the school bus, a few air-conditioners and
some furniture.
As at the time of filing this report, some of the remaining things that
the bailiffs couldn't cart away are all still outside the school premises
littering the frontage.
