How Notorious Kidnapper Kelvin & His Members Were Arrested In A Popular Hotel

Reports from security circle on Wednesday indicated that a major financier of a
kidnapping ring in Edo and the surrounding states, Kelvin Oburuvbe, has been
arrested by operatives of the SSS.
"We have been on his trail for more than two years. He is responsible for
most of the high profile kidnap in the state. The latest is the kidnap of Chief
Mike Ozekhome in August this year."
It was gathered that the kidnap kingpin was rounded up with some of his loyal
boys while they were enjoying themselves at a popular hotel in Port-Harcourt,
Rivers State.
A source says this goes to confirm Governor Rotimi Amaechi's statement that
criminals are now coming back to Rivers due to the posture of the police
commissioner, Joseph Mbu.
It was gathered that Kelvin Oburuvbe is the same person that gave the Federal
Government an ultimatum to give him and his boys amnesty or be ready to incur
his wrath.
Kelvin is believed to be instrumental to recent abduction of human rights lawyer,
Mike Ozekhome, his driver and a leader of the APC, Chief Athansius Ugbome, on
Saturday, August 24, 2013.
He is undergoing interrogation in preparation for his arraignment in court.

Jonathan and National Assembly Members Are Sucking Nigeria

A report says President Goodluck Jonathan has the highest number of cars in a
presidential fleet in the world and with about 10 aircraft, he also has one of the
most expensive fleet of planes in the world. But the average Nigerian can never be
allowed to enter any of those planes in their lifetime and people are being told to
make sacrifices for Nigeria's progress. How sad!
Now another report has confirmed that Nigeria's lawmakers are the highest paid in
the world, yet workers in the country are among the very least paid, coupled with
expensive goods and services.
Had this report not emanated from The Economist of London Magazine, it would
have been dismissed as a rumour, as the matter has always been dismissed
whenever it is raised by Nigerians.
The report said that federal legislators with a basic salary of $189,500 per annum
(N30.6m) were the highest paid lawmakers in the world.
Quoting data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and The Economist of
London, the study looked at the lawmakers’ basic salary as a ratio of the Gross
Domestic Product per person across countries of the world.
It further suggested that the lowest paid legislator in Nigeria earns N30.6 million ($
189.5,000) per annum which was put at 116 times the Gross Domestic Product,
GDP, per person. As a ratio to GDP per person, Kenya was second with 76 times,
Ghana 30 times and Indonesia 18 times.
The actual take home of Nigerian lawmakers and top political office holders like
President and Vice President has continued to remain in the dark, for reasons best
known to those at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission,
(RMAFC).

Photo of the day: Lagos leaving Nigeria behind! Lol

This is a photo of the Lagos State Government's ten-lane Lagos-Badagry
Expressway and railway line. Erm...yeah, people are already trading on the rail
tracks. Lol.
The Lagos –Badagry expressway is a Federal Government road which is currently
being expanded to 10 lanes to accommodate a BRT lane and light rail through
collaborative efforts of the state govt, the federal govt and international financial
agencies.
Julius Berger is handling the 10 lane road segment while China Civil Engineering
Construction Corporation (CCECC), is handling the Light Rail section of the road.

Who Will Gag Asari Dokubo?

It is utterly discomforting to witness a sharp decline in public morality in the way
and manner we conduct the business of politics and power in Nigeria. Public
discourse, which should ordinarily sharpen our knowledge and intellectuality, is
often grossly abused to fan the embers of disunity and instability.
Except for individuals whose psychological content is defective, I cannot imagine
any sane human being beating the drums of war so loud as if, if war does not
come, heaven will fall.
|| Those who speak the language of war do not live to enjoy the spoils of
war. In fact, they get consumed in the inferno of war, and often times ended
up on the wrong side of history.
Otherwise, how do we reconcile Asari Dokubo’s latest outburst of drumming for
war particularly each time the capacity of the President is put to public scrutiny?
Why does he think that nations cannot live without oil as a resource? Why does he
also feel that President Jonathan must be supported from his ethnic binoculars or
fond of smoking hot against anyone who feels a strong point against presidential
faux pas?
Those who speak the language of war do not live to enjoy the spoils of war. In
fact, they get consumed in the inferno of war, and often times ended up on the
wrong side of history. In contemporary society like ours, particularly with the global
attractions of intellectual discourse to proffering solutions to developmental
challenges no matter the shape or form they take, speaking the language of
gunboat diplomacy or war is as uncivilized and brutish as waving AK-47 to show
might.
Experiences in recent times especially from the Arab Spring have shown that those
who live by the gun easily die by it. And with the humiliation that ended the reign
of Libya’s Ghaddafi, Hosni Mubarak and their torch bearer Sadam Hussein, those
who are conversant with history will certainly not concede to the argument that
war is a better option to settle inequalities, inequities and irregularities in a
formless system like we have in Nigeria. When the Libya conflagration assumed
the ethnic dimension, nationalistic patriotism overtook sectional interest, and the
rest, as is often said, is now history. Where is Charles Taylor today?
So, if the larger voting population of Nigeria did elect him at the elections of 2011,
it goes to suggest that at the time of the election, he was their preferred choice.
And to that extent also, the people deserve and reserve the right to question the
performance of a President they so gladly elected. To question the right of the
people to raise queries about the conduct of the President they elected is to abuse
their privileges which democracy advocates treasure.
Democratic powers derive from the people. Needless to state here that at all times,
the people who are the repository of power, deserve explanation on every action,
step and inaction of government. Since public office is held in trust for the people,
they are at liberty to demand insight into the thinking of government at all times on
any decision of government.
This is because there is always a day of reckoning. Such explanation would also
avail the people the opportunity to have deeper knowledge about the workings of
government and its actions. It is against this backdrop that I find the position of
Asari Dokubo very much at variance with the demands of participatory and
inclusive democracy.
I do not know where President Jonathan would derive the morality to take
campaigns for re-election to a people that have been so despised and insulted by
his kinsman. With the simple majority mantra, your guess is as good as mine.

These Boobs Are One Of My Selling Point ––Nollywood Actress

She's got it and she knows it. For upcoming actress, Success Asibor Kenneth (aka
Vanilla) all that matters is her good looks and the fact that men are easily
attracted to her things. She said it makes her very happy when different parts of
her body drive men crazy. Below is what she told a reporter:
Tell us about the best part of your body
The best part of my body is my skin, my fresh hot legs, my boobs but mostly my
face.
Why do you like them
I love my skin because it so soft, fair and beautiful, I love my legs because they are
spotless and my face because it catches men fancy.
How do you cope with attention from men
It is normal in our country Nigeria for men to walk up to ladies even though they
don’t like her, most of them do it for the fun of it. I enjoy it when men approach
me, but as a lady you should know how to respect yourself thou I have many male
friends.

Okada Man, Housewife Caught Having Fun In The Bush In Orlu. Imo State

A mild drama played out in Orlu, ImoState, when a commercial motorcyclist, a
father of two (names withheld), was caught pants down making love to a married
woman in a lonely bush....While the 45-year-old housewife was making a case of
rape against the randy motorcyclist, the 30-year-old man insisted that the woman
was his concubine.Giving account of what transpired to the police, the woman said
she engaged the motorcyclist at Orlu to take her to her matrimonial home at Obibi-
Ochasi. She said when they got to a solitary area along the route, the man stopped
ostensibly to ease himself. She further told the police that while she was waiting for
him to finish easing himself, the man emerged and started asking that they sleep
together, adding that when she refused the amorous advance, the man grabbed
her and forcefully lifted her into the bush. The woman equally claimed that the
rapist tore her inner wears to shreds, over-powered and raped her.In his defence,
the man claimed that the woman had been his concubine for years, adding that he
had previously had fun with her at different times and places, including the spot
where they were caught in the act.He also claimed that he called the woman on
her mobile line and asked her to meet him at the agreed spot in Orlu. The man also
claimed that when they got to the bush, the woman stripped herself naked, spread
her wrapper on the ground and laid down before he started the act.The randy
motorcyclist, however, agreed that along the line there was a minor
misunderstanding on the amount he should pay after they had satisfied
themselves. While the man claimed that the woman was asking for N500 for the
service, he offered N200, which he said was the only money on him at the
time.Vanguard equally gathered that plan was in top gear to arraign the alleged
rapist in court to face trial.

You're A Shameless Liar ––Ribadu Replies Ex-IGP Mike Okiro

The war of words between pioneer EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu and his former
boss, who masterminded his sack from the anti-corruption agency is not over yet.
Okiro had recently denied having hands in Rubadu's travails. Below is Ribadu's
reply to Okiro's denial:
As for Okiro's corruption credentials, we would like to alert the retired IGP that
he is dancing naked in the gallery as his nasty record is something known to
a lot of people. A man who clearly reeks of corruption, is Okiro denying that
he is corrupt when we all know he cannot account for the source of the
wealth he used in building a shopping mall in Jabi, a hotel with casino in
Lugbe and a private school, all in Abuja ? This is not to mention his property
in Lagos and Port Harcourt, while he was still serving in the police.
Our attention has been drawn to the shameless lies a former Inspector General of
Police, Mr. Mike Okiro recklessly spewed to the media on Monday. The cause of Mr.
Okiro's anger, the statement, in a London court, by Mallam Nuhu Ribadu that
James Ibori was instrumental to his emergence as the Inspector General of Police
(IGP) needs no further equivocation as it was an open secret to everybody in the
government circle then.
If Okiro is now denying this in public, there is no way he can deny this open secret
to a number of people including an influential governor from the North-Central
then, and a couple of other people who helped facilitate his selection by Ibori.
It was this same shameless method of desperate lobbying that Okiro, a chronic
political jobber and sycophant of the first order would use in getting subsequent
appointments as Chief Security Officer to the PDP national chairman and later,
regrettably, as the chairman of the Police Service Commission.
The assertion by Okiro that Ribadu wanted to be the IGP further underlines the
former IGP as a perennial peddler of falsehood. The truth is Nuhu Ribadu's focus
then was consolidating on his modest efforts at the EFCC, especially at a time
when he was working on high-profile cases, including that of Okiro's godfather,
James Ibori. We therefore challenge Okiro to name those people he called Ribadu's
friends that narrated the fictitious story of Ribadu's interest in becoming the IGP to
him.
The highest distortion in Okiro's statement, however, is his attempt to rewrite the
well-known and widely documented assassination attempts on the former EFCC
chairman, and Okiro's hand in it all. It is ridiculous that Okiro is now desperately
trying to paint himself in another colour after all the schemings he orchestrated. It
beats our imagination that Okiro would want a Nuhu Ribadu he was fighting to
destroy to report those incidences to him. It would have been a case of having a
culprit to be a judge in his own case. At the time, the trio of Micheal Aondoakaa,
the former Attorney General of the Federation, Okiro and Mrs Farida Waziri, the
former EFCC chairman, had created a hell out of the world for Ribadu. The only
sensible thing to do was to avoid these characters and seek solace somewhere
else. This notwithstanding, it is a blatant lie that Okiro telephoned Ribadu "several
times" but that he did not answer his calls. What Ribadu and other Nigerians easily
recall was an elated Okiro rushing to address the press to deny something he knew
nothing about. The bullet-riddled car Ribadu drove during that unfortunate life
threatening incident is still there, if Okiro or any other person would want further
proof.
On the issue of withdrawal of Ribadu's personal security, if Okiro is suffering from
selective amnesia, let him be reminded that that was exactly what he did. He also
redeployed Ibrahim Lamorde out of EFCC, to Bauchi State Police Command as Area
Commander in Ningi. He did the same thing to other top EFCC operatives that
Nigeria spent a fortune to train as investigators. One of them suspected to be close
to Ribadu was even locked up for months in police custody. This also belie his
statement that as IGP he could not have altered the postings of police within the
EFCC.
If a public servant, one tasked with the responsibility of protecting the lives of
Nigerians and instilling discipline in the police, managed to amass such wealth,
what gut does he have to talk of corruption? It is a national tragedy that a man of
such flawed character has now been appointed to head an important institution
like the Police Service Commission. May God rescue Nigeria
Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, Media Assistant to
Mallam Nuhu Ribadu

Many Pastors Are Now Status-Driven, No More Kingdom-Driven

It almost seem to me like God has since left the 'church', and He is just watching
us do our thing. Churches are now handled and managed like circular industries.
The place of the Holy Spirit has since been abandoned.
It is now competition galore. Every person is solely interested in building an empire
for himself. Many of our pastors desperately want their members to honour them
more than they honour Christ. Many church folks don't even know Jesus Christ.
'Pastor' has become 'Jesus'.
It bleeds my heart this is what the church has become... It pains me even more
that Heaven is sincerely no more the focus ... Many who even preach about Heaven
act like they don't believe it even exists.
Many worship 'Pastors', they rarely care about Jesus. 'Pastors' are now status-
driven, no more Kingdom-driven!
Focus has changed in ministry. It is no more about His Kingdom. It now about
whose church is the biggest. Who can 'preach' better... Who can 'prophesy'
better... Who has more 'miracles' in his ministry... Who has the latest cars and
longest escort... Who has bigger investments... Whose name is more in the media...
Supposed Ministers of the Gospel are now striving to be celebrities... Ministers even
wear "blings"...
Is this the same Christianity we were told about as teenagers, or is there a new
'Jesus' we should start serving? Is this the same Christianity the Apostles
practised that made people see them and called them "Christians" in Antioch?
It seems so much like God has since left the 'church', and will only return to pick
the very few who have chosen to face the Gospel as it is.
Today, church folks no longer have personal walk with Jesus Christ, they need
'Pastors' who will pray on their behalf and do 'magic' for them... Church folks and
other desperate people are pushing once-upon-a-time genuine pastors to become
false prophets and fake ministers of the gospel of Christ... We now have all kind of
'magic centers', and it takes the special grace of God to know who is really fake
and who is genuine...
Let's remember this: The return of the Lord Jesus is sure. He is coming for the
righteous, not the religious. He is coming for those that know Him, not just those
that are close to 'powerful pastors'... He is coming for those who are upright, not
just workers in church...
Friends, let's prepare for His return and His reward, everyday of our life!

27-Year-Old Man Breaks Into ATM, Steals N6.8 Million

The Police Command in the FCT have begun investigation into the alleged
theft of N6.8 million from the ATM of a bank at Jabi District, Abuja, on
Saturday.
DSP Altine Daniel, the command’s spokesperson, who disclosed this on
Tuesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja,
said that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the theft.
He said that the 27-year-old suspect (name withheld), allegedly broke into
the ATM belonging to one of the old generation banks and stole the money.
Daniel, however, said that the amount that was stolen was recovered
“intact” from the suspect after he was arrested in the premises of the bank.
“On Sept. 21, at about 10 a.m., some staff of the bank came to report at
our office at Utako that their ATM had problem. “When our men moved to
the scene and started looking for clues and anything that will assist them in
their investigation, they noticed that the CCTV monitor room had been
tampered with.
“After a thorough search, they also noticed that the door of the toilet in the
room was locked from within and when they opened it, they found
somebody seated. “The suspect was picked up and taken to the station
where he confessed to the crime,” she said. Daniel said the suspect claimed
to have learned the act of opening safe from the “youtube” (Internet) and
thereafter, bought some tools, including screw driver and pliers, to carry
out the act. She alleged that the suspect removed N6.87 million from the
ATM and packed them in bags before his arrest. “Investigations into the
case has started and we are trying to find out if he acted alone or he has
some accomplices,” she said

Exposed: The Woman Who Lead The Terrorist Attack In Kenya

Samantha Lawthwaite is the wife of the late Jermaine Lindsay, a terrorist who was
one of the four people that killed 52 people in a series of well co-ordinated suicide
attacks in parts of London, using the public transport system during the morning
rush hour in 2005.
Now she's taken over from her husband. Samantha is said to be the leader of the
deadly Islamic terrorist that attacked the Westgate mall in Nairobi Kenya on
Saturday, where many have lost their lives.
This British-born Islamic terrorist lady has been on security watch but continue to
operate. Now the question being asked by security watchers is:
Could it be that the "White Widow", Samantha Lewthwaite, has been killed during
rescue efforts by Kenyan forces at the Westgate mall?
Before the soldiers took over the mall, it was gathered that a white woman wearing
a veil was giving orders to gunmen in Arabic during the bloody massacre inside the
shopping mall.
Sources say Samantha may have been killed as a dead white woman was found
among the Islamic terrorists killed by soldiers as they re-captured the Westgate
mall on Monday evening.
But Al-Shabaab, the Islamic terrorist group, has praised Samantha's effort and
claimed that she is still alive.

Unknown to many of her teeming fans, one of the biggest heart aches giving

Big Girl Confesses: Why I Sleep With Men For Money [

She claims it's not really her fault; her family is not ok and she had to support

money without doing things with her. But is there really any justification for a lady
to take to such dirty trade?

Alaba Market Big Boy, Azu, Caught In Kidnap Operation

Not all that glitters are gold, according to our elders. One of the big boys in the
popular Alaba Int'l Market in Lagos, Azuoma Nwabugoh, popular known as Azu,
has been arrested along with members of his kidnap gang who are also apprentice
boys in his shops.
“My boss (Azu) brought the guns and we went to kidnap the victim. My boss
drove the man to an undisclosed place in the man’s jeep while I followed in
another car.
“It was when my boss returned to Lagos that he gave me the victim’s vehicle
to sell to Arinze. Arinze gave me N50,000 and I handed it over to my boss.
My boss then gave me N30,000.”
This is the confession of one of Azu's apprentice, while owning up to the crime. He
confirmed that it was him and Azu that executed the kidnapping. But Azu is crying
and denying.
Men of the Lagos State Police Command recently smashed a kidnapping syndicate
in the Okokomaiko area of the state led by popular Alaba Market big boy, Azu.
Police authorities gave the names of the suspects as:
Azuoma Nwabugoh, Chimobi Onuoha, Moses Okoh, Nwachukwu Nwandike and
Michael Arinze.
The suspects were arrested after policemen attached to Ilemba Hausa Division
recovered a vehicle belonging to a kidnap victim, Obinna Okpara, who was locked
inside a toilet for over one week . After kidnapping the victim, Azu and his boys
allegedly sold the car to one Michael Arinze.
Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said:
“On August 8, 2013, around 8.45pm, one Obinna Okpara was kidnapped in front
of his house at Awka in Anambra State. He was released on September 9, 2013,
after a ransom was paid.
“His vehicle was, however, traced to the house of one Michael Arinze at Etegbin
Road, Ajangbadi, Lagos. Upon interrogation, Arinze said he bought the vehicle from
one of the suspects.
“He said the vehicle, a black Toyota RAV4 with registration number, ABN 42 AA,
was sold to him for N800,000, adding that he paid N50,000 as down payment.”
Azu and his boy have been transferred to SARS. But Azu is claiming innocence,
saying police should allow him go back home to his pregnant wife and three
children.
“All these allegations against me are false. I don’t know the victim. I am a trader
at Alaba Market and most of the suspects you see are my apprentices,” he said.

Joy Emordi Tried To Stop Bribe To NASS; New PDP Demands Her Immediate Recall

Alhaji Aunakar Baraje led-PDP has called on the presidency to recall Senator Joy
Emordi who was sacked as Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly
Matters because of her candid advice that inducing members of the National
Assembly financially to impeach their principal officers would be counter-
productive.
“If this is true, we hereby demand her immediate reinstatement. For Senator
Emordi to be bold enough to tell Mr. President the implication of such a
corrupt inducement of the lawmakers should earn her commendation rather
than a sack.
Instead of sacking such a forthright and patriotic Amazon, the President
should sack those hawks around him planning to ridicule him by
encouraging him to embark on acts capable of making him very unpopular
amongst his supporters and followers”.
The nPDP stated this on Sunday, 22 September 2013, in a statement by its
National Publicity Secretary, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze.
The party also called for the sack of Princess Stella Odua.
“Mr. President, if it is true that the Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Odua, has
abandoned the remodeling of the Port Harcourt International Airport while
completing those started at the same time because of the assumed conflict
between you and your brother, Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State, we
demand her immediate sack before she causes further damage to your
administration.
“We plead with you, Mr. President, not to embark upon any further act of impunity
that will endanger the peace and unity of our troubled nation”, the nPDP appealed.

Genevieve Nnaji Caught In Lesbianism Act With Actress Ella?

You know how they say there is no smoke without fire, right? Well, Genevieve and
her friend Ella Martins who is an actress from Benin Republic, are in the middle of
a dirty controversy. She and Genny spent some time in Genny's apartment not too
long ago and somehow the story leaked.
When asked about the alleged affair between she and Genny, actress Ella said:
Genevieve is a very good friend of mine...we met way back in 2004 and we have
been good friends since then. The story that we are lovers must have come from
another female friend of hers. I am saying this because since 2004, there have
been no such lesbian stories but suddenly it sprung up.
Towards the end of last year, I came to Nigeria and I stayed with Genevieve.
Although we stayed under the same roof, we slept in different rooms.
There was a time during my visit that we both went to see a friend in a hotel in
Lekki and people saw us going in . We later went clubbing that night with the friend
and which I think is a normal thing for girls to club if they want to. But that was
when the rumours got worse, that we went into the hotel to sleep with each other!!!
She said it’s not the first time the Press would label her a lesbian but she has
developed a thick skin and so it doesn’t bother her because she knows she is not a
lesbian!
Genevieve and I have known each other since 2004 and she really is a nice person
if you get to know her. We talk on phone a lot and we discuss life's issues like
normal girls do...she is a wonderful person. I guess it’s because she is a famous
person that some undesirable elements want to tarnish her image...and mine too .
The Press make things worse too. There was a time I performed with Tony Tetuila
and there were rumours after then that we were dating. But I just want to
emphasize here that Genevieve and I are not in any form of sexual relationship, we
are just good friends.

ASUU Says It Can't Take Jonathan's Promises, Strike Continue

The Academic Staff Union of Universities said it would not call off the ongoing
indefinite strike because of the mere promise made by the Goodluck Jonathan led
Federal Government to provide revitalisation fund for the university system across
the country.
ASUU queried what has happened to the promises they got from President
Jonathan before.
The union also stated that the existence of the National Universities Commission
has not brought improvement to the standard of education in the country. It
therefore called on the National Assembly to investigate the activities of NUC with a
view to determining the continued relevance or otherwise of the university
supervisory body.
If found irrelevant, ASUU said NUC should be scrapped immediately.
Chairman of ASUU, University of Ibadan chapter, Dr. Olusegun Ajiboye, who spoke
in Ibadan noted that the NUC boss, Prof. Julius Okojie, had concentrated the effort
of the university regulatory body on quantity rather than quality.
Dr Ajiboye said, “Okojie should take full responsibility for all his deeds in the NUC.”

19 KILLED IN OWERRI AUTOCRASH

A morbid spectacle played out
yesterday along the ever busy
Owerri-Aba federal highway
as no fewer than 19 persons
lost their lives in a ghastly
road traffic crash.
Vanguard investigations
revealed that that the two
vehicles in the crash, a
commuter bus and a Nissan
Xstra, were moving in
opposite directions.
While the commuter bus,
which loaded in Owerri, was
heading to Aba, it was not
clear where the Nissan
vehicle was coming from or
heading to as at press time.
An eye witness account,
which had it that the crash
occurred at about noon
yesterday, between Umuowa
and Ihitte, Ngor Okpalaeke
local council area of Imo
State.
According to the badly
shaken woman, all the 19
passengers, including the bus
driver and conductor, died on
the spot, but the Nissan
driver survived the crash
The only survivor, a
pregnant woman that had
her two legs chopped off,
was bleeding profusely. Her
fate obviously hung in the
balance. She was in a very
critical situation and I pray
God will see her through the
ordeal, a woman said amidst
sobs.
On what led to the crash,
most of the sympathizers
were of the opinion that the
two vehicles were on top
speed and eventually ran into
each other while trying to
avoid a pothole along the
road.
As at the time Vanguard
visited the scene of the crash,
the remains of the accident
victims had been moved to an
undisclosed morgue by
officers and men of the
Federal Road Safety Corps,
FRSC.

Wife Almost Killed Her Husband With Dagger Over Girlfriend

Marriage is a respected institution that men and women should look forward to but
when a woman chases her husband with a digger and another woman decides to
have extra marital affairs, then there are questions that should be answered.
This was the case in the family of Mr and Mrs Ogodi of Ado town in the Karu area
of Nasarawa State. The couple had been having some rough patches in recent
times just as most families are prone to but the wife, Chidinma, probably never
thought that the argument [over infidelity] would end up with her spending several
night in police custody.
The case of the commissioner of Police versus Mrs Chidinma Ogodi was mentioned
at the Upper Area court Maraba Gurku, Nasarawa State, and according to the First
Information Report (FIR) from the police, on September 5, 2013, Chidinma had a
misunderstanding with her husband at their home and during the war of words
that ensued she ran after him with a digger with intention to kill him.
She picked up a digger which happened to be lying close by at that moment and
went after her husband with intent to actualise her threat. He managed to escape
but she decided to take out her annoyance on his car and she smashed his
windscreen, refusing to stop until the whole windscreen was destroyed.
However, the sister to Mrs Chidinma told a story quite different from what was in
the report.
Mrs Daberechi Onyereri, who came to court to apply for bail for Chidinma, stated in
her report that it was Mr Ogodi that attacked his wife because they had a "small"
misunderstanding and it was in the course of this that the windscreen got
smashed. She however could not state which of the parties smashed it or if her
sister Chidinma had chased her husband with a digger.
The court didn't buy the sister's story.
Chidinma was arraigned on September 9, 2013, and charged with criminal
intimidation, mischief and attempt to commit homicide contrary to sections 397,
327 and 95 of the Penal Code Law of Nigeria.
The couple has three children and from the look of things, they are heading for a
divorce.

Give Your Man Enough Bedroom Food, No Girl Can Snatch Him ––Says Aisha Falode

She is fondly called the First Lady of Sport Journalism. Aisha Falode, who now
anchors a popular talk show that focuses on the home, sure knows how to do her
things in the male-dominated industry. In a recent chat, she confessed that she
now know better what men really want and that if she ever get married again, no
lady will be able to snatch her man. Below is what she said:
There has been the argument over what really helps to keep the home. Is it food or
séx?
See no pretences. If you talk to 10 men, 90.9 per cent of them, that is almost a
100 per cent, will tell you that what goes on in the bedroom is much more
important than what is in the plate on the table. Talk to them. That is what they go
after when they go after girlfriends. The girlfriends don’t cook for them. It is what
they do with these men that take the men to them. Let’s don’t pretend as women.
Be creative. ‘Daddy, it’s me and you tonight.’ Recreate that old time and they will
enjoy it. Even when they are in the process of straying, they remember that my wife
can give me what I want . Even if they want to, they are held back because the
woman is fantastic, and they are wondering why they are wasting their time with
these small, small girls.
Forget about food. Although it is also important, those people they are going out
to see are not cooking for them. That is the truth. Let’s be frank about it. Perhaps,
if I was as matured as I am when I got married, I could keep my home. But I
wasn’t mature . If I get a second chance today, God help the lady that will come
and take my place. She will have to toil for it.
This is the time for women to wake up. Keep your relationship. Keep your man,
whatever it takes . What is it that he is going to look for outside? I will give him
double at home. This is what men want. We brought them to the programme on
how to sustain your marriage, and they told us verbatim. Forget about the food. It
is the food in the bedroom that is more important . Maybe in the days of our
mothers, you know they were traditionalists, they were not adventurous.

Boobs Alert: Swaziland King Picks One of These Sweet Virgins

Amidst criticisms, the young King Mswati 3 of Swaziland has picked an 18-year-
old lady, a beauty pageant contestant as his wife number 15. It is believed the
age-long culture of young virgins displaying their oranges in a cultural festival
before King Mswati is really motivating him to have more "fresh" women.

“I can confirm that the king has introduced to the nation a new liphovela (royal
fiancee).”
