Bianca Ojukwu Addresses Claims By Her Husband's Family That Ojukwu Didn’t Marry Her

Bianca Ojukwu in a new interview with SunNews addressed the claims by some members of her late husband’s family that he did not actually marry her. She said: I think that is laughable because my marriage first and foremost, which took place at Our Lady’s Queen of Nigeria Catholic Church in Abuja, was a celebrated ceremony with ‘who is who in Nigeria’ in attendance. The reception was at the Hilton. In fact, it had a glittering galaxy of Nigerians, most of them are still alive today. And what is interesting about this ridiculous assertion is that those that are making the assertion or asking me to bring proof of my marriage with their brother were present at the wedding in Abuja, and present at the wine-carrying at Ngwo, and even dressed in the uniform depicting their family outing. All the pictures are there to prove it, the video is there to prove it, you can look at the pictures yourself. Look at this picture, you can see Senator Pius Anyim, you can see Governor Rochas Okorocha, all of them came to Ngwo. So, for people to wake up and start suffering from selective amnesia just because there are cases in court where property and who gets what is concerned is ridiculous. The fact remains that I was married to their brother at the registry, at the church and traditionally in my father’s compound. I remain the only woman that Ikemba married or went through these three forms of marriages with, I’m the only one, and it is on record. Therefore, for them to wake up and decide that what happened never happened, I believe it is really unfortunate for them because there is no iota of truth in that assertion and it does not depict them in favorable light because they were there.

Senator Yerima Picks A New 15 Years old Bride, Divorces 17 Year Old Egyptian Wife

Former Zamfara State governor Senator Ahmed Yerima, according to
City People magazine, has allegedly divorced his now 17 years old
wife Maria to marry another.
Yerima wedded Maria, who is from Egypt, amidst wide protest 3 years
ago when she was just 14.
Now he has divorced her, allegedly to pave way for him to marry
another young bride since Islam permits just 4 wives.
Maria already has a child for him.
City People now says Yerima in the company of four men, reportedly
members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly were in Egypt a few
weeks ago for the wedding fathia of his new 15 years old bride.
The Senator is alleged to have married and divorced just his fourth
wives in the last few years but has never changed his first three
wives.

BREAKING: ASUU Strike Is Over

Information reaching NastyGist.Com from Minna, the capital of Niger
State, venue of the high-powered and strategic meeting called by the
leadership of ASUU on Monday is very positive, to say the least.
Following "fruitful deliberations" and proper consideration of the
Memorandum of Understanding signed with the federal government
last Wednesday, the National Executive Council of ASUU has called off
its five-month old strike, effective immediately.
National President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge Isa had told journalists
that:
He is optimistic that the outcome of the consultation will be positive.
The MoU addressed the core demands of ASUU as well resolutions
agreed to between it and government in the November 4 marathon
meeting with President Jonathan.
These include a non-victimisation clause, provision and deposit of
N200 billion infrastructure revitalisation funds in an account with the
Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, details of disbursement of the funds and
payment of salary arrears which has accrued to the teachers during
the strike.
Dear Nigerian students, you all can now go back to school. It's over!

Another Letter: Bayelsa Elders Say They're Not Feeling Impact of Jonathan's Government

President Olusegun Obasanjo is the first Nigerian president to
prosecute his Secondary School friend, the man he appointed
Inspector General of Police, a sitting Senate President, his serving
Ministers, etc. But when some "idiots" want to talk on TV and Radio
programmes, they will say Obasanjo do not have the moral right to
write such a letter to President Goodluck Jonathan. How ridiculous!
Now President Jonathan's people have written to him complaining
about the same lack of development:
"Whilst it takes the federal government the better part of the
century to connect us by road, there exists a vast and expanding
network of oil and gas pipelines across our territory connecting
prolific oil wells to flow stations to export terminals and so on.
In some 40 to 50 years of oil and gas production, the Nigerian
government has in league with the oil companies virtually drilled
the life out of our communities."
The people of the oil producing areas of Bayelsa State have written to
President Goodluck Jonathan, and their complain is that he has not
done anything to correct the wrongs of the past, making life difficult
for them.
The elders therefore raised the alarm on the rising anger and
impatience of the people especially the youths of the areas against
multinational oil companies operating in their domain, and even the
government.
In a letter which was signed by Emeritus Professor E. J. Alagoa and
several others, they declared that in spite of over 50-years of old oil
exploration and 10 percent of nation's oil and 15 percent gas
production, the federal government had failed to deliver on road
construction promised the Nembe communities till date.
The position of the elders which was read at the weekend, argued that
the relationship between Nembe and the country had been one sided
as the territory had only been good for economic exploration,
extraction of their resources and an export terminal for extracted
resources.
"What is the fate of these road projects? How do we get our various
stakeholders to keep faith with their legal and social obligations to
Nembe? Has SPDC tricked us and finally abandoned the Otuegila-
Emago-Oluasiri-Nembe road? Is the Ogbia-Nembe road the only
serious project NDDC intends to do for the entire Nembe communities
with quota that we contribute to the commission which is roughly
N300billion yearly budget? Will the federal government prove to us
through concrete infrastructural evidence that it now cares about the
people and territory of Nembe?"

EXCLUSIVE: APC Picks Tambuwal As Presidential Candidate?

If this happens, it means a top political office holder will be squaring
up against Jonathan in 2015:
Though the speaker of House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal had said he
was not part of the meeting of leaders of the APC in Kano State
governors lodge in Abuja last week, Daily Times has authoritatively
gathered he was actually invited to the meeting and intimated of the
decision to field him for the presidency in 2015.
"This is a big drama in the politics of this country. Whether they
want it or not, we have massively suggested that Tambuwal is
the best person for our presidential candidate and we will ensure
it happens. We brought him to a venue where we are all present
so that he would know that we are serious."
Our correspondent authoritatively gathered that Tambuwal had been
invited to the meeting through one of the defecting governors. A
source at the meeting revealed that because he could not stay till the
end of the meeting, APC decided to communicate to him through his
(Sokoto) state governor, Aliyu Wamakko.
Those who attended Monday’s meeting included two leaders of the
APC: Ex-Head of State and Presidential candidate, Muhammadu
Buhari, ex-governor of Lagos, Bola Tinubu.
Others are Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti; Babatunde Fashola of
Lagos; Bola Ajimobi of Oyo, Musa Kwakwanso of Kano; Rotimi
Amaechi of Rivers; Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun; Murtala Nyako of
Adamawa and Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto.
This is just in-line with a statement released by the spokesperson of
the speaker, Imam Imam, which claimed that Tambuwal went to see
the Sokoto governor.
“The speaker went to see his governor who sought to see him and he
went there before the meeting commenced and it did not commence
before he left the lodge,” he said.
In our investigation, it was gathered that APC governors have decided
to find all means to flag Tambuwal as the party’s presidential
candidate in 2015.
A top source said, “We have invited him for a meeting and sent his
state governor to him. So, he is aware of our intention to get him into
the party. He is a neutral person who still maintains high sense of
integrity among Nigerians so if we use him, we can easily achieve our
goal of bring the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.”

If I Leave PDP, Jonathan Will Become Vulnerable ––Says Tukur

The battle for survival by the National Chairman of the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, is getting serious as more
PDP governors have vowed that he either step down or they will be
left with no choice but to dump the party and join their colleagues in
APC.
But Tukur is ready to fight to the end and he his describing himself as
the best man to be there in the interest of President Goodluck
Jonathan's 2015 ambition, claiming that those calling for his removal
are plotting to make President Jonathan vulnerable to be defeated in
2015.
The PDP chairman wondered whether his "loyalty" to Jonathan is now
a crime. Tukur's removal is considered one of the major conditions
needed to restore peace to the troubled party.
As part of their agitation for his removal, the governors met in Abuja,
on Friday night, where they resolved that Tukur should resign in order
to stem the tide of defections from the party.
The party has lost five of its governors to the major opposition party,
the APC, a situation which is seen by top political analysts as a bad
omen for the ruling party which is desirous of retaining power in
2015.

Wizkid Breaks Up With His Girlfriend, Tania Omotayo, Again?

Some say she has "big eyes for money". But is that enough to break

Impeach Jonathan Now: Presidency threatens APC with Treason

Miffed by the level of impunity and recklessness in the government of
the day, the APC has said:
"Our country is drifting dangerously and our people are divided now
perhaps more than at any other point in our history, with the
exception of the civil war period. There is a total failure of leadership,
even as insecurity, unprecedented corruption, palpable impunity,
massive unemployment and hunger stalk the land."
The APC then urged the National Assembly to do the needful by
impeaching President Goodluck Jonathan and restore the country to
the path of sanity and economic prosperity for all Nigerians.
But Jonathan's camp says the call is treasonable. Below is the threat
from the Presidency:
"We have noted with utter disdain, the reckless and irresponsible call
by the APC on Sunday for the National Assembly to commence
impeachment proceedings against President Goodluck Jonathan.
"Ordinarily, we would not have dignified Alhaji Lai Mohammed’s
latest vituperations in the service of his paymasters with a response,
but we thought it necessary to warn that the Federal Government will
not standby idly and let the nation be plunged into unnecessary
crises and political instability because of the desperation and
apparent readiness of the APC spokesman and his gang of power-
seeking desperadoes to sacrifice the well-being of the country on the
altar of their selfish personal ambitions.
"The Presidency totally condemns the decision by Alhaji Mohammed
and his party to move further beyond the bounds of honourable and
acceptable political conduct with the senseless call for the
impeachment of a President who continues to sincerely devote himself
to the discharge of the sacred mandate freely given to him by
Nigerians.
"The APC, which remains a minority party with doubtful credentials in
the National Assembly, knows fully well that its attempt to hector and
blackmail a Parliament dominated by loyal members of the
President’s party, the PDP, into an impeachment process will come to
nothing.
"But it has cavalierly embarked on this outrageous gambit, with scant
regard for peace, order, security and political stability in the country,
in furtherance of its dastardly and heinous strategy of over-heating
the polity and working to cause public disaffection against the
Jonathan Presidency with lies, false accusations and unjustifiable
indictments ahead of the 2015 general elections.
"The Jonathan Administration does not need Lai Mohammed or the
APC to remind it of its constitutional responsibility for the security
and well-being of Nigerians. The President will continue to do his
utmost best to achieve positive national transformation in all areas in
spite of efforts by the opposition to thwart or disparage the work of
his administration."
But the APC has said calling for the impeachment of a President who
lacks the capacity to deliver the peoples expectations is a normal
thing, anywhere in the world. The party says Nigerians know the truth.

PDP IN TROUBLE: 7 More Governors To Dump Party For APC

The suit by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asking a
Federal High Court in Abuja to sack the G5 Governors for defecting to
the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been faulted and dismissed
as an exercise in futility.
“Now that PDP is at the receiving end of the same medicine they
administered on others and they are window shopping for ways
to have their cakes after devouring them. What a pity as about
seven more PDP Governors will be joining APC by the first
quarter of 2014 at that time they will be preparing on how to
bury PDP formally by 2015.”
“The suit is laughable and betrays the ignorance of the PDP
leadership about the laws of the land. It is also a further
demonstration of the impunity associated with PDP in its disdain for
democracy and due process,” erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of
New PDP, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, said in a statement issued on
Sunday in Abuja.
Eze quoted relevant sections of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution to
prove that the seats of the affected governors, namely, Alhaji Murtala
Nyako (Adamawa), Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Alhaji Magatakarda
Wamakko (Sokoto), Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano) and Alhaji
Abdulfatai Ahmed (Kwara), are safe.
According to him, “For the education of the confused PDP leadership
and its legal team, there is no danger of any of our Governors losing
their seats as made clear by sections 68(1)(g) and 109(1)(g) of the
1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) in
relation to the status of members of a legislative house (state and
national) who defect from the political parties from which they were
elected to join another political party.
“The wordings of the aforesaid sections are in agreement with those of
sections 64(1) (g) of the 1979 Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria given judicial interpretation by the Supreme Court in the case
of FEDECO Vs Goni (1983) FNR 203. That case was argued by the
best legal minds of that era (Chief FRA Williams SAN and GOK Ajayi
SAN). The court held that such a member keeps his seat if his
defection is as a result of a division or split in his party.
“G5 Governors must be commended and congratulated for standing
against the draconian and undemocratic acts of PDP and should go
about their normal business as both PDP and its sponsors lack the
power to sack any of them. This as well covers all members of the
National Assembly who desire to join the Aso Rock-bound train (APC)
come 2015.”
Eze said it was not debatable that PDP is crisis-ridden, thus
guaranteeing that none of its members who defects can be punished
as a result. He quoted and attached a recent letter by the Independent
National Electoral Commission (INEC) voiding the suspension of
Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje and Dr. Sam Sam
Jaja as proof that PDP is in crisis.
The letter signed by INEC’s Secretary, Mrs. Augusta Ogakwu, was
dated November 25, with reference number INEC /EPM/PDP/02/024/
Vol.T/161 and titled: ‘Re: Suspension of Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, Dr.
Sam Sam Jaja, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Ambassador Ibrahim
Karaure from the PDP”. The letter, addressed to the National
Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, reads: “This is to
acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated November 12, 2013
informing the commission on the suspension of four members of your
party.
“The commission notes that some of the individuals so suspended
held positions covered by the provisions of section 85(1) of the
Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) and that no notice of the meeting
which approved their suspension was provided to the commission.
“Accordingly, the records of the commission does not reflect the
process and composition of the meeting that approved the suspension
of the individuals, as such, the commission cannot establish an
informed position on the matter “Please accept the commission’s
highest regard and consideration”.
Eze supported INEC’s position by quoting Section 85 (1) of the
Electoral Act 2010 (as amended), which states thus: “Every registered
political party shall give the commission at least 21 days’ notice of
any convention, congress, conference or meeting convened for the
purpose of electing members of its executive committees, other
governing bodies or nominating candidates for any of the elective
offices specified under this Act.”
The former New PDP Spokesman accused PDP of mischief for
instigating the Houses of Assembly in the affected states to start
impeachment proceedings against the defected Governors as being
witnessed in Rivers State, where six rebel legislators are desperately
trying to impeach Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. He warned PDP
to desist from any further act of destabilisation capable of plunging
the country into chaos and truncating the country’s hard-won
democracy.
Chief Eze asked how come that PDP received Chief TA Orji of Abia
State and Chief Ikedi Ohakim, a former Governor of Imo State that
defected from PPA and Alh. Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State who defected
from ANPP and joined PDP without declaring their seats vacant.

See How A Pastor Stab His Wife For Refusing To Go To Church

Could this be described as the work of the devil or simply a Pastor's
inhumanity to his wife?
Men of the Ogun State Police command have arrested a-45-year-old
man, Pastor Daniel Samuel for stabbing his wife over her refusal to
attend church activities. Daniel, an Apostolic Church pastor was said
to have used a cutlass to inflict deep cuts on his wife, Mrs Patient
Samuel in her neck in Ogun State.
Funny enough, after Pastor Daniel attacked his wife with the cutlass,
he alerted neighbours and lied that his wife was matcheted by some
unknown men, and pleaded with them to help him take her to the
hospital.
The offence of his 42-year-old wife was that she decided to take care
of her personal work that morning, due to pressure, but the pastor
insisted that she must leave the work and come with him to church.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed
the incident. He said, “The pastor is with us, he initially lied to the
police that his wife was attacked by some men, but later confessed
after interrogation. He will soon be charged to court for false
information and wounding.”
, our correspondent observed that the pastor’s wife could only utter
some incoherent words when she was asked questions.
The Consultant of Orthopaedics and Trauma at the FMC, Doctor
Ojeblenu, who is in charge of the patient, said the woman would
remain under close observation because of the depth of the injury.

Politicians Will Keep Stealing Your Money Until You Take Action –– Amaechi Dares Nigerians

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has opened up that political
office holders steal the commonwealth of the masses because
Nigerians do not stone them or take action to check mate such acts
of impunity.
“If you see a thief and you allow him to be stealing, what have
you done? You have stoned nobody; that is why we are stealing.
Who have you stoned? They came out and started dancing oil
subsidy, oil subsidy. They told you that they stole N2.3trn, what
did you do?
“Instead you are protesting ‘bring more oil subsidy’; the oil
subsidy that is not reaching the poor. A few individuals are
going away with the money and you have done nothing. You are
mourning Madiba, who lived up to 95, and he was very angry
with Nigeria when he died ."
Governor Amaechi, who said this in Lagos at an event organised to
pay tribute to Nelson Mandela, challenged Nigerians to hold their
leaders accountable. He dared Nigerians further:
“You’ve heard that $50bn is missing and you have done nothing
about it . In some countries people will go on the street until they
return that money. It is N8trn, it can change Nigeria.
“Me I want to steal only $1bn, let them bring it. You read Obasanjo’s
letter and you are asking why is he writing the letter, is he a South-
South man?
You, what have you done? If you don’t take your destiny in your
hands, we will go and other leaders will come and continue stealing.”

There Is Nothing Like Hell Fire, No Rapture ––Says Pastor Dikeh

Founder of “As The Lord Said, It Should Be Done Temple”, Pastor Blessed Oguguamakwa Dikeh seems to be in the mould of those who are out to challenge the status quo. He has declared that Christians should forget about the second coming of Jesus Christ (rapture), saying that it would never come to pass.
In his words: “There is nothing like hell fire after life. Heaven is here on earth already. When you are suffering, you are in hell fire. If you are in poverty and cannot pay your house rent then you are already in hell. But when you are in heaven, even if you reside in a flat, your landlord will come and beg you for money. He would even say don’t worry, I will give the other tenant quit notice for you.”
In an Interview with Daily Independent, Pastor Dikeh further insisted that:
“There is nothing like rapture. If you tell me that rapture means when a person dies, his soul goes back to God and his flesh to the dust, then I will agree, but anything other than that, I don’t agree. Don’t let anybody deceive you.

He also stated (like the Jehovah Witnesses) that there’s no hell fire after death.

Pastor Dikeh also dropped another controversial statement:
“I pray in the name of God, because my father, Adam, did not pray in Jesus’ name. Jesus is a servant like me. He has finished his assignment and has gone. I am a servant too. When I finish my work, I will go. Jesus has done a good job, but I have problem with people who are giving him the honour that is not due him. If you say Jesus is the saviour of the whole world, who then is God?”
The pastor recently came under heavy criticism by Nigerians over his strange biblical beliefs and the purported serving of alcohol to members in his church.

Toke Makinwa Officially Confirms Her Breakup With Fiance Maje Ayida. Regrets Dating For A Long Time.

The 12-year relationship between Toke Makinwa, the presenter of
Morning Drive on Rhythm FM, and Lagos Big Boy, Maje Ayida (CEO,
Eden Lifestyle) is over.
CityPeople reports that when asked recently by an interviewer about
their relationship, Toke said:
“I am not under any pressure to get married. It’s the society that
puts pressure on women not minding that divorce rates are
high.
I was once in a long term relationship with Maje Ayida and it
has come to an end. I think it’s unfair for me to speak about our
relationship because he is not here to defend himself. He is an
amazing guy but it was not meant to be.
It’s strange being single again but I am taking it one step after
the other.
One of the mistakes I made in my last relationship is that we
dated for a long time. They were amazing years but they were
also 12 long years. When you are faithful to someone, know what
you can tolerate.
My Mr Right has to be God-fearing, who would not do certain

Ambulance Called To Justin Bieber's House For Unconscious Woman

As I am on the official Justin Bieber beat here at Jezebel, I
consider it my journalistic-y responsibility to bring you this
breaking news story. A woman reportedly passed out at Justin
Bieber's home this weekend early Saturday morning. TMZ is
reporting that ambulances "raced" to Bieber's Calabasas, Calif.
home following a 911 call place from the residence. (Because if
they weren't going to Bieber's house, they'd just be cruising
around, taking it all 'cas' on their drives to 911 calls, I guess.)

We've learned paramedics were dispatched to Bieber's
crib this morning around 3 a.m. after someone at
Beiber's reported there was a 20-year old unconscious
female at the house ... but 15 minutes later the
ambulances were called off.
Beiber was home at the time 911 was called. The person
who called off the fire department told dispatch the
woman would be transported privately to the hospital. But
sources familiar with the situation tell us ... the woman
regained consciousness and when she was told 911 had
been called she insisted they be called off.

Luckily, the woman is fine and didn't need to go to the hospital.
TMZ reports the woman just went home; a source connected to
Bieber's security team ( ooh, clandestine ) said the call was placed
as a matter of precaution. They also say they "know" alcohol
was involved. Ummm, OK, TMZ?

Obasanjo Warns Jonathan Again

All the four letters ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo wrote to President
Goodluck Jonathan privately, he did not acknowledge any, talk less of
replying him. So why will he reply this one, rather than address the
issues?
As the Presidency prepares a reply to the 18-page letter written by
Obasanjo to Jonathan on the current state of the nation, indications
have emerged that the former leader was not expecting any reply but
action that will lead to a better Nigeria from Jonathan.
A competent source told Vanguard that Obasanjo was more interested
in Jonathan addressing the core issues he raised in his letter rather
than getting a reply to his damning missive, entitled, ‘Before it is too
late’.
The source, which also denied any breakfast meeting between
Obasanjo and Jonathan in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, said the
story was made up by those who tried to play down the importance of
the former leader’s letter.
The source said,”The truth of the matter is that former President
Obasanjo is not expecting President Jonathan to reply him.
Absolutely no. The President did not consider it needful to respond to
previous letters privately written to him by the former head of state
and he does not expect any reply to this one.
“I can tell you that Obasanjo wrote the letter with the best intentions
for Jonathan and Nigeria and what he wants from the President is
courageous and timely actions to save Nigeria from the brink. That’s
all.
“Obasanjo will be a happy Nigerian if appropriate steps are taken by
President Jonathan to address the burning issues of corruption and
other challenges that threaten to bring this country down. There is
absolutely no reason to expect a reply from the Presidency when
previous letters written to him were not even acknowledged.”
It was however learnt, at the weekend, that presidential aides have
drafted a response to Obasanjo’s letter.
The response was said to be awaiting Jonathan’s approval.
It would be recalled that Obasanjo took a patriotic step recently when
he wrote a letter to Jonathan drawing his attention to myriad of
issues capable of taking Nigeria to the brink if not addressed.

We Are Now Ready To Take Over and Rescue Nigeria ––Tinubu

National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola
Tinubu, said the party would not falter in its legitimate struggle to
“rescue Nigeria” from the “rudderless and clueless” Peoples’
Democratic Party (PDP) government at the centre come 2015.
“There was a time I was alone, but today we have 16 governors
on a rescue boat. We shall rescue Nigeria as a whole. We shall
succeed in this crusade to save Nigeria. As Moses crossed the
Red Sea, no going back to Pharaoh again.
“The PDP-led administration at the centre is demolishing
democratic structures without any plan to rebuild it.”
Tinubu, who gave the assurance while speaking during a traditional
function in Ogun State on Saturday, stressed that the progressives
would provide the country with “purposeful and quality leadership”
needed to pull it away from the brink.
Speaking on the resolve of the Progressives to develop Nigeria, Tinubu
said, “We will provide Nigerians with good leadership; once upon a
time, Ogun State was on the wrong political corner of this country.
Now, we have a purposeful and people-oriented government in Ogun
State...
"Ijebu-Ode is already a giant construction site with the dualisation of
roads going on, the overhead bridge, thank you Governor Amosun for
your dedication and commitment to duty which made the
transformation possible.”
