Top health habits to steal from women

When it comes to healthy living, both genders have their vices.
However, there are many instances where it can pay to steal some
habits from the opposite sex. To help give your health and fitness a
boost, check out these top health lessons men can learn from women.

Female health tip 1: Get to know your body

Although most men are more than familiar with their overall
appearance, many are less than vigilant when it comes to looking out
for signs of health changes and may pay less heed to their bodies’
signals than women. To keep your health in good condition it is
important to pay attention to your skin (making note particularly of
any changes in size, shape or color of moles) and perform self checks
for signs of testicular cancer. By getting to know your body, you will
start to become more intuitively aware of the state of your wellbeing.

Female health tip 2: Try a holistic exercise class
For a lot of men, exercise routines are focused exclusively on bulking
up and improving body shape. However, you may be missing out on
lots of the health benefits other more female-dominated forms of
exercise can offer. To help boost your mental and emotional
wellbeing , try supplementing your usual routine with a gentler holistic
exercise such as Pilates, yoga or Tai Chi. As well as keeping you
physically fit, these exercises have many great benefits such as
improving posture; increasing energy levels; boosting flexibility,
strength and stamina; improving concentration and reducing stress
levels.

Female health tip 3: Get checked out

Just as it is important to track any changes in your body, it is equally
as essential that you act on any possible symptoms by visiting your
doctor about any concerns you may have. However, while women are
generally good at getting regular check-ups, many men are guilty of
ignoring their symptoms, possibly due to fear or denial of health risks.
It is never worth taking a chance on your health, so put your mind at
rest by giving your doctor a visit, no matter how small you think the
risk may be.

Female health tip 4: Let yourself be vulnerable

While most women will happily let their guard down and communicate
their troubles to their friends, many men are afraid of appearing
vulnerable by opening up to others and showing how they really feel.
However, not only will sharing your troubles help you gain support
and bond with others, but crying can also help your body to release
stress. So, next time you are feeling emotional, whether due to a bad
day or a weepy movie, why not let those tears flow – your health will
thank you for it!

Female health tip 5: Do more cardio

Many men centre their workouts around weight lifting and building up
muscle, while women are more likely to opt for cardio exercise to help
with weight loss. In fact, neither option is ideal as both types of
exercise should make up a well-rounded fitness routine. Whether or
not you want to lose weight, aerobic exercise is essential for heart
health, so take a lesson from the girls and try swapping the
occasional weight lifting session for a cardio workout to help improve
your health and physique.

Female health tip 6: Indulge in some pampering

It’s a well known fact that most women like to be pampered and
groomed, while men are a little more reticent to give grooming a go.
Whether you care about your appearance or not, proper skin care
(which includes using an SPF) is important for your health, as is
looking after your nails to prevent fungal infections. If you want to go
the whole hog and give your body a pampering treat, a massage can
also do wonders for your health. With benefits including reduced back
pain, detoxification and an increased sense of well-being, this is
definitely not just a treat for the girls.

DATING : Best ways to tease a girl (MUST READ)

Want to drive your girl wild in bed? We’ve spoken to lots of women
and found out what they love guys to do to them in the privacy of
their boudoirs. Use these five top tips to find out how to tease your
girl and drive her crazy by slowly seducing her until she begs you to
finish the job:

How to tease your girl: Become a recording artist

Sadly, not all of us can become a real life recording artist. However,
the good news is that in order to tease your girl you don’t need a
studio or even much talent. Researchers have found that women find
the male voice attractive. To make the most of this research you can
record a kinky message for your girl. All you’ll need is a computer
with a microphone and a little creativity. Firstly, find some software
that you can use to record your voice. Then think about what you can
say that will really turn your girl on. You could talk about what you’d
like to do to her, tell her one of your fantasies or read a dirty story.
Once you’ve recorded your message pop it onto your girl’s iPod. You
can either wait until she stumbles upon it herself or place her
headphones into her ears and press play.

How to tease your girl: Make chores sexy

No one likes doing chores, but whilst your girl is washing the dishes
why not stand behind her and kiss her neck? Don’t speak to her when
you do this and then walk away. After a little while go and find your
girl again and rub her shoulders slowly. Again, walk away after a few
minutes of massaging her. The next stage is to kiss her. The lips are
in fact your most exposed erogenous zone so make sure you give her
lips a lot of attention. To get the perfect kiss, start off slow. Open
your mouth a little and begin with small kisses. A good kiss builds,
so don’t be shy if you feel like pulling back a little. Once you’ve
managed to pull off a great kiss your girl will be thoroughly turned on
and will want to jump straight into bed.

How to tease your girl: Explore

So, you’re both in bed, what do you do next? Go straight for the main
event or take the time to turn your girl on? Although women don’t
want lots of foreplay every time they have sex, on the odd occasion
they do want you to take the time to tease and please them. Women
love it when guys don’t go straight for their hotspots and instead
explore other, more subtle areas of their bodies. Run your fingers
down your girls back, through her hair and up her thigh. Use your
fingers to gently brush her lips, her cheeks and her eyelids. Make sure
you touch her everywhere and use both hands to do so. Although this
doesn’t sound like much of a turn on for you, trust us, she’ll love it.

How to tease your girl: Treat her butt

Be careful with this one. We’re not suggesting you take her from
behind – a lot of girls won’t find that a turn on and will probably kick
you out of bed. However, her rear is full of pleasurable nerve endings
and you can give her some great thrills by giving it a massage. Lay a
towel on the bed and ask your girl to lay front down on it. Start by
rubbing her back. Place your fingers either side of your girl’s spine
and then slide your hands up to her should blades. Repeat this
several times. Next, you need to move on to her butt and upper
thighs. Use your palm to apply pressure softly and move your hands
in circles around her derriere. You can also use your finger tips to
caress her booty and knead her butt. Remember, this should be
pleasurable so ask your girl the odd question from time to time, like
‘Does that feel good?’.

How to tease your girl: Make it last longer

One of the best ways to tease your girl is to make foreplay, sex and
everything in between last longer. If you can enter your girl, but then
withdraw a few times, she will go wild for you. The problem is, once
most guys begin they find it hard to stop. To try and master this
stop-start approach you can try and make it last longer when you
spend some alone time with yourself. Don’t try to come as fast as you
can and instead aim to last for around 15 minutes. You can also try
to do some kegels (stopping and starting the flow of urine) to help
tighten your ejaculatory muscles and when having sex use small,
shallow movements rather than deep thrusts. This should help you
last longer giving you the chance to stop and start sex whenever you
like. Remember though, sex shouldn’t be a 100m sprint, but nor
should it be a marathon. Get the balance right.

Popular Lagos Pastor Caught For Using Young Virgin for Rituals

The General Overseer of a fast growing church in Lagos, where Lagos
big girls rush to, has been arrested by the Police for alleged ritual
murder. The pastor simply identified as Fireman has been detained at
the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba,
Lagos following confessional statement of a young man, Ikechukwu,
who was caught strangulating a 12-year-old girl identified as Bose.
In his confession, Ikechukwu said: “I started attending the church
in Surulere since 2011 when I heard how the man of God was
performing miracles and I believed in the pastor. After Christmas
celebration, I was ashamed that I had nothing for the New Year
celebration, especially clothes. The spirit moved me to approach
my pastor for help and when I met with him, he promised to give
me N100,000 if I could get the faeces of a strangled virgin."
After five days on the run, Pastor Fireman has finally been arrested...
Ikechukwu had told the Police that the Pastor had contracted him to
kill a female virgin and bring her faeces for a NI00.000 fee.
Ikechukwu, who was paraded at SCID, Panti by the state Police
spokeswoman, Ngozi Braide, narrated how he strangulated the girl.
“I agreed to get the faeces of a virgin. I remembered a food vendor’s
daughter, who I suspected was a virgin and I went to the woman’s
shed at Badagry. When I met Bose, I bought rice and plantain from
her. She served me and after eating, I lured her to an uncompleted
building on the pretence that I wanted to show her something.
"Immediately we entered the building, I held Bose on the throat until
she defecated and died. I wanted to pack the faeces when I heard the
shout of a man calling for my arrest and I tried to escape but I was
arrested by some people.
“They wanted to kill me but a man begged that I should be spared so
that I can be used as witness against the pastor. I thank God that my
life was saved because the pastor would have denied that he sent
me."
Ngozi Braide said though the case was being investigated, but 18-
year-old Ikechukwu had made confessional statement that the pastor
sent him. She said the pastor was being interrogated by detectives
after which the police would determine the fact of the matter.

PDP Must Stop Taking Its Violent Attacks To Judiciary ––APC

The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
has totally condemn the present resort to physical violence against
the judiciary and officials of court in Rivers State by members of
the PDP.
Again, it would be recalled that just recently, six
individuals reportedly linked to Hon. Evans Bipi and Senator
George Sekibo were arrested on their way to Ogu/Bolo with seven
AK-47 assault weapons by
men of the JTF. This has confirmed our worst fears that the PDP
have resorted to the use of terrorism as official party policy. We
have every reason to strongly believe that the arrested well-
armed men are part of the ruthless snipers PDP are alleged to
have trained for use against political opponents.
The extension of violence to the judiciary in Rivers State by the
PDP and their agents started to assume a dangerous dimension after
Justice Wali of the Ahoada High Court granted an injunction on
December 16, restraining the member representing Ogu/Bolo in the
Rivers State House of Assembly (RSHA), Hon. Evans Bipi from
parading himself as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of
Assembly. A few hours later, the court building was bombed by
suspected PDP members/agents.
On the night of Sunday January 5, elements suspected to be members
of the PDP bombed an Ahoada High Court building. Less than a
week earlier, the PDP had widely circulated a press release signed by
the
PDP Chairman, Mr. Felix Obuah, claiming that the governor of
Rivers State was trying to use the same Ahoada High Court to protect
the Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Chief (Hon.) Chidi
Lloyd
– a claim that is vexatious, malicious and patent falsehood.
As this press release is being published, the Ahoada High
Court complex is cordoned off by the police because of two objects
confirmed by the police to be bombs planted in the premises. The
truth is that these bombs have been planted by the PDP, Evans Bipi
and their agents to prevent the sitting of the Ahoada High Court for
the hearing of arguments on interlocutory injunction barring Evans
Bipi from perpetually parading himself as Speaker of the State
Assembly. Rather than file his papers and argue his position in court,
Evans Bipi and his PDP cohorts resorted to intimidate and prevent the
court from sitting through planting of bombs at the court premises.
It would be recalled that despite openly announcing the verdict
that Justice Laminkara would give over the Obio/Akpor Council case
many weeks before the verdict was handed down, the APC did not
resort to
violence against the person of Justice Laminkara, her court and
any member or institution of the judiciary in Rivers State before,
during and after the verdict was given.
We are deeply surprised that despite the obvious perpetration of
these dastardly acts of violence against the judiciary by suspected
members of the GDI and PDP, the Rivers State Police Command and
other security
agencies in the state are yet to make arrests and it appears that
they are not in any hurry to investigate this spate of bombings
and attacks.
We appeal to the relevant authorities to intervene and
compel responsible security agencies to undertake their
constitutional responsibilities of securing lives and properties of
citizens and residents of Rivers State by promptly arresting,
investigating and prosecuting all those involved in the current spate
of violence across
Rivers State. This should be done as quickly as possible to avert
a situation whereby individuals and groups would resort to self help.
God bless Rivers State!
God bless Nigeria!!

Final Year Female Student Dies In Hotel Room

A final year female student of the Benue State University, BSU, Ms
Joan Adaaku, has been reportedly found dead in a hotel room located
in the heart of Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
“She actually arrived the hotel alone and after undertaking some
check-in formalities she entered the room and locked herself up.
“She never came out of her room again either to ask for food or
any other things. So, at exactly 6 p.m, a room attendant knocked
on her door to find out if she was interest in being attended to
by room service."
“Her silence aroused suspicion and the room attendant, who
repeated his call to the room at 8pm without reply, alerted the
manager on duty."
Vanguard gathered from sources who preferred anonymity that
the 21-year-old Economics undergraduate had checked into
Savannah Guest House at about 7a.m after paying N2,000 for a room
According to the source, “It was at that point that the management
alerted the Police who moved in and broke into the room and
discovered the lifeless body of the lady in a position that suggested
she was making a call before her death.
The deceased had on her a small purse which contained a Bible,
rosary and N8,200. A bottle of water and a bottle of soft drink were
also discovered in the room.
The police say they are investigation the circumstances that led to
her death. Really sad!

PHOTO: OMG!! SEE The "JUJU" They Put In Firstbank (MUST SEE)

There are reports from Akwa Ibom State that
the Plaza branch of First Bank Nigeria PLC, Uyo
is currently under a traditional injunction
placed at the entrance of the banking hall by
unknown persons.

The building which is reportedly owned by
Joesco Group of Companies is located at the
heart of the town and is reportedly regarded as
the most patronized bank in Akwa Ibom State.
Whoever gave the traditional injunction is still
unknown but there are insinuations that maybe
there's a problem between the owners of the
property and the bank or an aggrieved
customer/staff of the bank versus the branch's
management.
As a result of the injunction, customers
reportedly were seen in large numbers rushing
in use the ATM to avoid being financially
stranded as the week begins.

For now, no one knows whether the bank will
be open for business tomorrow following the
ugly incident.

EXPOSED: So Stella Oduah Is Working With A Fake Certificate

Everyday, it is becoming clear that thieves and criminals are holding
top positions in Nigeria...
US College Says It Did Not Award MBA To Stella Oduah As It Has No
Masters Programme
Stella Oduah, Nigeria’s Aviation Minister who is embroiled in a
scandal of towering proportions in the ministry, faces new integrity
questions as her Masters’ degree has been challenged by the United
States school which she claimed awarded the degree to her.
Her resume, presented to Senate as a ministerial nominee in 2011,
indicated she obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration
(MBA) from St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville, Virginia, United States.
But the School's Provost Vice President of Academic Affairs and
Vice President of Institutional Development said in response to
inquiries: “ We don’t offer any graduate programs here.”
Sahara Reporters has learned from the President of the college that it
has never in its 125-year history had a graduate school or graduate
program.
Similarly, the school’s website states: “Saint Paul's College is
accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate [bachelor’s] degrees.”
There is no mention of graduate degrees.
“[Oduah] realized very early in life the indispensability of a sound
education in her growth plans in life and therefore pursued her
education with all diligence and sense of purpose,” her documents
claimed, adding that a determination “to have the best education at
the highest level” prompted her stay at the Virginia college in 1983
for the MBA programme.
As her public relations machinery marched on, in December 2012 The
Sun newspaper published an article headlined “Stella Oduah: An
Amazon of transformation,” which lauded her “MBA from St Paul’s
College, Lawrenceville Virginia USA.” The story also praised her for
being an official who brought her “rich educational background to
bear on the aviation sector by automating revenue centers in all the
agencies and parastatals to boost their revenue profile and enhance
transparency and accountability in the system.”
Oduah’s new certificate questions are certain to feed into national
concern about her credibility as an elected official, but also about
Jonathan’s credibility, and about the nation’s security apparatus
which verifies official documents offered to the Senate for official
nominations.
If Mrs. Oduah deliberately deceived the Senate, it remains to be seen
if the Upper Legislative House will be sufficiently motivated to take up
the matter appropriately.
Afterall, Jonathan is yet to reveal the findings of the panel he set up
to investigate Stella Oduah's cars scandal.

Woman Slumps and Dies Inside Niger State Governor’s Office

Commotion erupted at the office of the Niger state governor,
Babangida Aliyu on Monday when a 46-year-old woman, identified as
Belkisu Mahmoud suddenly slumped and died under controversial
circumstances.

It was gathered that the deceased, Hajiya Mahmoud, mother of three
children had waited for several hours to see the governor but was
denied access to see him.

The governor was said to be indisposed as he had a lot of files to
treat due to the New Year break. But shortly after she was allowed to
see the governor, she slumped in his office.

Source in the governor’s office who spoke in confidence said the
woman who was suspected to be asthmatic was immediately rushed
to the Minna General Hospital where a doctor confirmed her dead.

The woman who was on a private visit to the office was delayed in the
waiting hall because her name was not on the approved protocol list
of those to see the governor
It seems she was a former staff officer (SO) in the Deputy Governor’s
office.

Doctors at the Minna General Hospital kept sealed lips and refused to
comment on the unfortunate incident.

Stop Our Men from Decamping to APC; Akpabio begs Tambuwal

Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom has appealed to the Speaker
of the House of Reps, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, to stop further
defection of members of Peoples Democratic Party in the National
Assembly to the leading opposition party, the APC.

In his words: “You must do everything humanly possible to avoid
further defection of PDP members in the National Assembly . Even
those that have defected, we want to implore you to do your best
to convince them to come back because the umbrella is not torn.

The umbrella can accommodate them and can still cover them
very well.”
In his reaction, Tambuwal simply told Akpabio that he was in the
state to discuss national issues.

It will be recalled that 37 members of the House of Representatives
elected on the platform of PDP had last month defected to the All
Progressives Congress, giving the opposition a simple majority in the
House.

But Akpabio asked the Speaker to help convince the defectors to
return to the party. Akpabio’s position was contained in a statement
issued after Tambuwal paid him a courtesy visit in Uyo on Monday.

NastyGist.Com gathered all efforts by Akpabio to drag Tambuwal
into political discussions during his visit to the state was politely
turned down.

SEE How Girlfriend Disfigured This Fine Babe With Acid

The facts have started coming out as the acid attack victim, Naomi
Oni’s alleged attacker has been identified by the authorities and it's
no other person but her friend, Mary Konye, who was said to be
jealous of her.
Konye knew Ms Oni had been deeply 'moved' by Katie Piper's
story - Katie is a model and TV presenter who was badly scarred
and left blind in one eye after she was attacked with acid in an
ambush arranged by her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Lynch.
Knowing this, Konye decided to launch the copycat attack on
Naomi Oni that fateful day, jurors were told.
According to DailyMail, 21-years-old Mary Konye, who stood trial on
Monday, had disguised herself in an Islamic veil showing only her
eyes, and trailed Naomi Oni home in East London before allegedly
dousing her in the corrosive acid.
Ms Oni, 21, who worked at Victoria’s Secret lingerie shop, suffered
horrific burns on her face and chest, lost her hair and eyelashes and
was left scarred for life in the alleged attack on December 30 2012.
During her trial, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard that Mary Konye,
who was studying business and finance at Hertfordshire University,
had been close friends with Ms Oni since secondary school.
But she was envious of the beautiful lady’s good looks, and the pair
had rowed in the past leading Konye to attack her with acid
previously, it is alleged.
The court heard Ms Oni left work at the Westfield Shopping Centre in
Stratford, East London, at around 11.30pm with several colleagues.
But she was oblivious to the fact she was being closely followed by
Konye wearing a full niqab, a hooded black coat, gloves and a grey
bag.
CCTV showed the university student had 'lingered waiting to see the
victim' at Stratford and 'tailed' her home always making sure to keep
a few steps behind her.
Unaware she was being followed, she got off the bus at Lodge Avenue,
a few hundred yards away from her house. But she suddenly became
aware of a presence behind her and spun around to see someone in a
niqab who lobbed a glass of acid at her.
But Konye, who was arrested on February 22 last year, denied
carrying out the attack or ever threatening to throw acid at Naomi.
She admitted tha they had had quite a few fallings out, including one
very big one, however she said she did not remember ever saying she
was going to attack Naomi with acid.

Investigation and trial continues...

How to Let Go of Someone You Love

Here are several ways to heal and to let go of someone you love,
plus the most common mistakes people make when they’re trying
to move on.

These tips are inspired by a reader who asked for help letting go
of someone she loves (her husband), even though he’s not quite
“gone” yet. Here’s part of her email:
“My husband of 3 years is planning to leave me without an
explanation,” says Michelle (not her real name). “He is in a band
and tours every now and then, but that has never been a problem
till this tour… within a week of being on this tour he started
distancing himself. No calls, hardly any replies to my messages
on Facebook. I want to know how to let go of someone you love
because I believe he will leave me. How do I start over?”
It’s shocking, confusing, and heart-wrenching when your partner
leaves. I think learning how to let go of someone you love is
about rediscovering your passion and identity, so I want to focus
on reconnecting with the most important person in your life: you.

How to Let Go of Someone You Love

It’s important to remember that letting go of someone you love
isn’t something you do once – and poof! You’re free, healed, and
happy. Rather, letting go is a journey peppered with steps forward
and steps backward, good days and bad days.

1. Accept that you did the best you could in your
relationship.
Don’t waste your time or energy feeling guilty or bad
about the choices you made in your relationship. You did the best
you could, you loved as much as you were able. No matter what
you did or didn’t do in your relationship, it ended — and it
probably would have ended regardless. If you want to be happy
and healthy – which involves learning how to let go of someone
you love – you need practice acceptance.

2. Decide what needs to change in your life.
You have to actively
decide you want to let go of someone you love. Who do you want
to be? Where do you want to live, work, love, play, and
laugh? Instead of mourning the fact that you have to start over
because your relationship ended, I want you to try celebrating it.
Stop focusing on your ex and the pain. Instead, focus on the
excitement of a new beginning and fresh start. I know it’s easier
said than done – especially if your husband left you for another
woman – but it’s better for you in the long run.

3. Accept your lack of control
. To let go of someone you love, you
need to accept that you can’t control many things in your life.
You can’t control who loves you, who leaves you, who helps you,
who betrays you. You can’t control your neighbourhood, the
traffic, the weather, or the economy. Of all the things you want to
change in your life, remember that you can’t change people . You
can sometimes change circumstances, and you can change your
attitude and response to events and people…but you can’t change
your husband, children, coworkers, neighbours, or family members.

4. Tap into your soul – start over spiritually.
The happiest people
are those who are in touch with their spirits. Adding spirituality to
your life not only makes you feel better emotionally, it improves
your physical health. Tap into your soul by meditating, praying,
taking time to really listen to your heart, reading Scripture or other
soulful books, and talking to people about spiritual matters. The
end of a relationship – when you’re trying to let go of someone
you love – is a perfect time to start getting back into your
spiritual life.

5. Get outside help on how to let go of someone you love.
A life
coach, counselor, financial adviser, or even a professional
organizer can help you let go and move on. Whether you should
hire a life coach or talk to a counsellor depends on your situation.
If you’re struggling with self-identity, major life changes, fear,
anxiety, depression, or your marriage – then I encourage you to
talk to a counsellor. Therapists can provide objective feedback and
guidance that our friends and family can’t offer. If you have
money problems, financial advisers can help you become
financially independent. Professional organizers can help you
declutter — which can improve your physical and mental health!

I hope these tips on how to let go of someone you love help.
Please feel free to share your story below. It does help to write
your thoughts and feelings, even if you feel embarrassed or
ashamed.

Jonathan Should Know That He's Just A Tenant In Aso Rock ––APC Blasts Presidency

President Jonathan is running an incompetent, flip flopping
presidency:

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has described as a cruel irony
the accusation of inconsistency and double standards levelled against
its leaders by the presidency, saying an incompetent and flip flopping
administration has no moral authority to point an accusing finger at
anyone, least of all the patriotic and respectable APC leadership.
According to the APC: " The presidency is behaving like a punch-
drunk boxer who, clearly dazed by a barrage of right-on-target
punches from the opponent, ran to the ropes and started
punching the air, when he should be thinking of a comeback
strategy."
In a statement issued on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary,
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said:
"This presidency is definitely dazed from its own failings, the collapse
of the party that sired it and the opprobrium being poured on it daily
by Nigerians who are grossly disappointed at its woeful performance
and clear lack of direction. We are therefore not surprised that in
addition to incompetence and cluelessness, it has now resorted to
twisting facts."
APC challenged the presidency to tell Nigerians when the party called
on President Jonathan to respond to former President Olusegun
Obasanjo's scorching letter, as claimed by the presidency on Monday.
"What we said, in our press release dated Dec. 13th 2013 and entitled
'APC to Jonathan: Don't take Nigeria back to Abacha days', was
that President Jonathan should address the allegations that he has
put 1,000 Nigerians on a 'political watch-list', in addition to training
snipers at the same facility where Abacha's killer squad was trained.
"Even then, our grouse with the President's letter is not that he
should not have responded, but that he should have exhibited a high
level of decorum in his response , bearing in mind that the presidency
is an institution that should not be dragged into the mud, while the
president is only a tenant.
''In order to show clearly that the presidency either did not understand
our subsequent press release on the lettergate or has decided to
distort our stand, we hereby reproduce the relevant part of the second
statement we issued on Dec. 26th 2013, on the basis of which the
presidency has misfired: ' The party said while it is not interested in
joining the fray over the issues contained in the letters written by
both men, the decision by the President to go personal in his reaction
crossed the threshold of decency and brought the presidency - and
indeed the country - into disrepute.
'''It said in other climes, the President would have simply issued a
terse response to such a letter denying the allegations that border on
national security, if any; as well as saying the former President's
observations have been noted, and that the government would study
them and then engage with the former President in private, while
assuring that the ship of state is on course'."
On the accusation of inconsistency and double standards levelled
against its leaders, APC said the Presidency was simply shooting the
breeze.
"The problem with this presidency is that it still cannot get over the
fact that our leaders, including Chief Bisi Akande, Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, have decided to put their differences
aside and make personal sacrifices to rescue Nigeria from the
PDP death grip. The presidency cannot understand why the
permutations of its fake political consultants, that personality clashes
between Buhari and Asiwaju will not let the APC see the light of day,
have failed.
"Also, they have been gripped with mortal fear that the leadership of
the APC has reached out to all Nigerians, irrespective of their political
leanings. They cannot understand that those who are genuinely
committed to rebuilding a nation that has been made so fractious by
a bungling ruling party must be flexible and accommodating, while
holding on tight to their principles,'' the party said.
It urged the Jonathan presidency to expend its energy on telling
Nigerians why it should not be voted out in 2015 for running the
most incompetent administration yet in our country's history. It
should explain to Nigerians why billions of naira have been squirreled
away under its watch. It should tell Nigerians why they spent their
Christmas and New Year holidays in darkness; why most of our
qualified youth are unemployed, and why the government's contrived
economic growth has yet to result in economic development (that's
hoping they know the difference).

President Jonathan’s 11th Private Jet!

The presidency has made a proposal for an upfront deposit of
N1.5billion for a brand new private jet, what will become the
Presidential Air Fleet’s (PAF) 11th aircraft. This figure is contained in
the details of the 2014 Appropriation Bill presented to the National
Assembly by President Goodluck Jonathan. The Federal Government
has budgeted another N1.52b for the maintenance of the 10 aircraft
currently in the PAF in 2014 and it is now set to spend just about
that amount on a new one.
|| President Goodluck Jonathan should take a break from his
aimless globe-trotting in his PAF and use his multi-million naira
bullet proof motorcade, to navigate round Nigeria all year round
to feel the pangs and yearnings of ordinary Nigerians. This way
the presidency can bring governance closer to the people.
This prodigious squandering of tax payers’ money is reckless and
irresponsible...
The PAF already boasts of two Falcon 7X jets, two Falcon 900 jets,
Gulfstream 550, one Boeing 737 BBJ (Nigerian Air Force 001 or Eagle
One), and Gulfstream IVSP. Others are one Gulfstream V, Cessna
Citation 2 aircraft and Hawker Siddley 125-800 jet. The combined
estimated value of the PAF is about $390.5m (N60.53bn). According
to industry experts, it costs a minimum of 20 percent of that figure to
maintain them annually. So we’re looking at about $58.57m
(N9.08bn) yearly for maintenance. Private jets are money guzzlers
either in the air or land.
The proclivity of this administration for frivolous spending is well
documented and has been severely criticised in the past for the
colossal amount of embezzlement, rip-off and wastage that has been
the hallmark of of this government. The rationale behind this new
aircraft in the PAF must be condemned in hash tone.
Apparently to hush the cacophony of voices that will rise in
opposition to the proposed new jet, the presidency in their usual
deceitful manner, have made part payment for what can best be
described as a completely unnecessary toy of comfort to an already
bloated Nigerian PAF. If he can’t travel in any of the ten jets in PAF’s
possession then there’s absolutely no need for an eleventh except if
he needs a new one every time he flies to match the strip of his outfit.
At a time we would think the numerous editorials and Op-Eds have
served their purpose on the insensitive frivolity that the spendthrift of
the inept leadership of the Jonathan government now symbolises,
then came this new proposal. We must continue to resist their
recalcitrance. This lavish lifestyle must be curbed.
The squandermania in government is extended to the large entourage
that accompanies Mr. President on his foreign trips, one can only
imagine the millions spent on hotel bills and estacodes that accrue
for the government officials. According to reports, world leaders are
stunned at the strangely large number of hangers on Mr. President’s
entourage. The recent trip of President Jonathan in the first week of
January this year to Kenya and the hullabaloo about his entourage is
apt.
It is shocking that the same people who have budgeted millions for
this new flying toy are aware that the country has no national carrier
as I write. It is shameful that the PAF is about the third largest fleet
of aircraft in the country with a total of 10 aircraft, coming closely
behind Aerocontractors with 12 and Arik Air, the largest commercial
airline in Nigeria with a fleet of 23 aircraft. Nigeria happens to be one
of the few countries in the world with such a large PAF.
It is ridiculous that this is happening in an aviation sector that is
dominated by foreign airlines. Nigerian carriers are going under due to
cash constraints. Countries with visionary and focused leadership like
Malaysia, Ghana, South Africa and a host of others across Europe
maintain only one aircraft in their PAF.
As the much publicised take-off of the proposed national carrier
before the end of the year failed, it won’t be out of place to make a
case for the government to seriously consider converting the PAF to a
national carrier, retaining one or two for use by Mr. President and his
co-travelers. The private jets can form the hub of the charter aircrafts.
What better example can be set by a national leader like British Prime
Minister, David Cameron, did in 2010 when he slummed it out to fly
from London to Washington in business class of a commercial airline.
He was caught on camera swanning around the world in hired jets. He
flies around the world on British Airways! Had it been in Nigeria,
security risks, flight delays are few of the sundry reasons government
officials would give for not flying commercial airline. The U.S
President, Barack Obama reportedly pays for his food, ours spend
almost a billion naira to entertain himself and members of his
government yearly.
It amazes many Nigerians who watch in utter disbelief the gross
absurdity and profligate nature the government of the day has gone
about every business of governance. It leaves us in quandary how an
administration headed by a former university don, one who had the
humblest of beginnings – walking barefooted as a schoolboy – as
well enunciated and trumpeted when he begged Nigerians for votes in
the months leading up to the 2011 elections, turned the country’s
‘plunderer-in-chief’. To see him frivol the Nation’s resources in a
manner that betrays his humble personae and upbringing is no
betrayal of an innate part of him he cunningly hid from us.
This government has embarked on some ridiculous white elephant
projects like mere renovation of official residences with billions. We
can recall the uproar that greeted the N2.2billion allocated to the
construction of a plush banquet hall, last year, with the lame excuse
that what the country had was way smaller than what other tiny
African countries boast of.
In this part of the world, only citizens are asked to cut costs, make
sacrifices; the pains of today are incomparable to the joy of tomorrow
are some of the ‘blues’ we get daily from government. In the same
breath, political office holders to our chagrin take their spending to
absurd heights. Sacrifice is a language that the over 60 percent
impoverished population must understand while our leaders continue
their obsession with living in opulence. They sacrifice nothing.
In these circumstances, how do you convince the various Labour
unions who are waiting on the flanks to embark on strike to press
home their demands that there are no funds to meet their grievances?
Downturn in government’s finances would be a hard sell in a situation
where the presidency is competing with individuals for private jets.
It is lamentable that at a time when we still haven’t seen the
infrastructural dividends promised with funds freed up from the partial
fuel subsidy removed, the president is more concerned in splashing
billions on banquet hall, renovation of residential apartments and
covert medical tourism trips abroad.
This squandermania in the face of limited resources extends to the
federal bureaucracy that has brought about an increase in the number
of ministries from 21 to close to 40 with the number of ministers
jumping in equal quantum or even more.
President Joyce Banda of Malawi will be of immense help in taking
our free loading political office holders through a crash course in
government prudence. As a friend of Nigeria, she will oblige.

23 Nigerian Girls Die In Delta After Drinking This Abortion Concortion (LOOK)

23 young ladies who wanted their unwanted
pregnancies terminated, have reportedly died
after they drank some herbal concoction from a
native home in Delta State
LeadershipNg reports Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba,
the state police commissioner, who confirmed
the discovering of the illegal home, said no
fewer than 23 females whose unwanted
pregnancies were terminated, died after
drinking the concoction.

He explained that the detectives arrested the
operators who were mainly native doctors and
quack nurses and upon interrogation, confessed
to the crime.
The home is located around Ugborikoko in
Uvwie local government area.
The suspects claimed they were trained in
traditional medicine, especially in the use of
concoction to terminate unwanted pregnancies.
One of their victims, a 22-year-old house-help
in the area, identified as Endurance, recently
died as a result of abortion she had performed
at the home.
It was learnt that the victim took ill and was
rushed back to the quack home where she died
as a result of complications from the abortion
she allegedly carried out in the abortion
centre.
A test conducted on her death by medical
experts showed that she was pregnant and
attempted to abort it at the hands of the native
doctors and quack nurses in the home.
One of the suspects, the police boss disclosed,
identified as Ufuoma had made useful
statements, adding that the police recovered
different bottles with concoction and charms
tied around sticks including locally made guns.
21 year old acid victim Naomi Oni was
disfigured for life after an unknown person
wearing a Niqāb threw acid in her face as she
walked home from work on Sunday December
30th 2012 in Lodge Avenue Dagenham, east
London.

Naomi only described her attacker as a woman
wearing an Islamic veil. Over a year later,
police has been able to identify the person
behind the veil. It was her jealous 21 year old
friend, Mary Konye.

According to new reports released by police and
tendered in court, Mary, a student
at Hertfordshireuniversity, disguised herself in
a Niqāb, which showed only her eyes
and closely followed Naomi home and allegedly
poured the acid on her when they got to a
deserted area. She fled the scene immediately
after.
Naomi suffered horrific burns on her face and
chest and was left scarred for life. Continue...
Mary Konye, who has since been arrested and
facing trial, had been Naomi's friend since
secondary school. Mary had always been
jealous of Naomi, the court heard, and when
they fought Mary decided she wanted Naomi
disfigured for life and attacked her with acid.
Naomi Oni's lawyer said in court today:

'Naomi will tell you about her
friendship with the defendant. In
particular she will tell you how in
the past they had an up and down
relationship and how the defendant
had admitted to her that on one
occasion in anger she threatened to
throw acid at Naomi.

'There was a reason why the
defendant would have chosen to
make such an unusual sort of
threat. In the past the two of them
had discussed a young woman
called Katie Piper.

'She was a woman who had acid
thrown at her and that attack had
been reported in the media.

'Naomi and the defendant had
discussed this and it appears that
the defendant knew that Naomi had
been particularly moved by Katie
Piper’s ordeal.

'Naomi stated that she and the
defendant had fallen out in the past
and says that there was an occasion
during a row when she called the
defendant ugly.

'She says that they were later back
on speaking terms and importantly,
that the defendant said to her that
she (the defendant) had been so
angry at the time that she had said
to someone else, a friend of the
defendant’s called Kamilah
Andrews, that she (the defendant)
wanted to throw acid at Naomi.

'Naomi believed that the defendant
had realised just how upset she had
been by Katie Piper’s horrible
ordeal.'

'She could not see the face of the
person, just the light-brown
coloured skin around the eyes. She
believed it was a female. The
woman was staring at her.

'All of a sudden Naomi felt a liquid
being thrown into her face. She
screamed and immediately felt her
face burning. She could smell her
skin and hair burning. She
immediately ran home

Mary Konye denies pouring acid on Naomi. The
trial continues...

D'Banj and Genevieve Nnaji's Secret Affair

Things are moving very fast between the Kokomaster Dbanj and his
babe, Genny, who have been keeping all about their secret romance
private until few weeks ago when the story came out. The latest gist
right now is that they are already getting things going on the fast
lane and their friends have been put on notice.
But what does put on notice mean... is it that they are finally ready to
get married?
Well, very credible sources say the idea of having Genevieve live in
Dbanj's house is so they could study one or two things about
themselves and maybe get her pregnant first, so that marriage can
follow, immediately.

A close source told NastyGist.Com that Genevieve is very happy and
she is doing everything to make her man happy and give him
"whatever he wants" so that 2014 can be their year of saying: 'Yes, I
do!'

was bombed this morning Monday January 6th,
according to reports from the state.

The NastyGist Editor's reports
The bombing of the court where
Justice Charles N. Wali usually holds
court, reportedly occurred on Monday
morning a few hours before a
politically charged suit against Hon

a group of 6 lawmakers, who has been
unlawfully parading himself as the
Speaker of the Rivers State House of
Assembly.

Justice Wali had about a month ago
ordered Bipi to stop parading himself
as Speaker of the House as the tussle
over control of the state government

Amaechi, lingers with an end in sight.

No casualties have been reported over
the bombing as at the time of filing

Wizkid Finally Reacts To HEADIES Snub (LOOK)

Wizkid got just one nomination at the just
concluded HEADIES and that has sparked a
lot of controversies.
A lot of people felt Wizkid ruled the airways in
2013, especially with his international awards,
and wonder why he got just one nomination in
the HEADIES.

None of his 2013 songs (Jaiye jaiye, Caro, Back
to the matter, Lagos to Soweto) got any
nomination, and the singer himself was only
nominated under the ‘Artiste of the year’
category.

His fans have been complaining, some
presenters on Tv have also talked about it.

But Wizkid decided to break the silence
yesterday when he tweeted that, his fans see
and appreciate all the work and that's enough
award to last him a life time.

He also said, his New Year resolution is to stay
happy.
